Video.. With Beckett!?
 

Attention everyone! Now, im not sure if this is safe, but im putting it someplace in the forum anyways. Feel free to move if it's in the wrong place..

Checking an Email i got from disney. A little halloween thingy with some videos. Well, long story short..

I've got plenty of other screenshots from the video.. But this thread is about this one screenshot from said video. Now, i cant be 100% sure if it really is Beckett because i have not seen the movies in quite a while. But for some reason that guy sitting in the middle of the screenshot? He, for some reason, sticks out like a sore thumb for me!

Opinions? Please! It's killing me!:laughks2:

looks like it to me babidi! but if not, at least its a suggestion of things to come.

Looks like it's supposed to be a special member of the EITC, there are definitely none in the actual game with curly powdered wigs on... then again I can't imagine anyone with a curly powdered wig on looking very menacing. :laughks2:

Yeah, I would think that might be Beckett though, although a very crude rendering of him.

Moving-stills like those always gives me the creeps.

It does look like Beckett to me. I hope its a sign of what to come.

It was on the loading video when the game updated.I've been frogeting to post a topic about Beckett.Good job.I think it's him he has been mentioned time and time again this year.I hope he will be in game soon within a few months.Love the shot there.Is that a... guard behiend himwith a pike or spear? :pEdit: not its not just an other of the first EITC ppl with firearms

It looks like their holding rifles.. new weapon being implemented perhaps?

it gives us a lot of hints as to what is going to come mate. EITC on tortuga might be on the next invasion...

ok, attempting to figure out what this might mean if in fact the small ice cream cone in a coat IS the small angry Lord...

I wonder if what the EITC GMs kept telling the wannabe eitc pirates was actually true in a direct sense. that they would have the chance to choose what side they wanted to be on soon enough...perhaps we may soon have the option of playing either a pirate, or an agent of the Company?

If you ask me, Becket wouldn't be an enemy; after all, since when does a British lord actually Defend himself? He might,just might be, but I doubt it. Maybe you can do buisness with him some time, or mayber there'll be an EITC invasion, but until then, who knows?

One thing I DO like are the rifles/bayonets in the EITC hands. They had the financial power to raise their own army;(NOT just a group of assasins, AN ARMY!) did they not?

absolutely right Keeper, the East India Company is pure evil. They entered India first as a company but then took advantage of the disunity between princes here and took over the country, defeating French, Dutch, Portuguese,etc. They took over India not in the name of the crown but in the name of the company until he British parliament passed an act over 'em in 1857 due to a revolt of indian soldiers....
Beckett truly might not actually fight with us, but considering that he's a skilled swordsman idk....

Norrington. Admiral Norrington is a good swordsman. Not Becket. Maybe he's learned some fencing. And many lords of the day DID learn how to use ( to a certain extent) daggers. Still, I doubt he would fight us...

By the way, I'm glad you pulled out the history books so I didn't have to post on it. Long live the King/Qeen of England! ( coughs nervously) It must be the EITC's mind control again....

But really, the Royal Navy may actually end up on our side!
