Fight or Join Jolly Roger
 

I see a lot of pirates that have split alliegences between the Marceline Guild and Jolly Roger's?Lord Beckett's forces. There is also the pirates themselves as a third side as some of us don't support either side.

So if we are given the choice who's side would you be on and why?

As fer me I am against the Undead Jolly Roger and the vile Lord Beckett. I will fight against them. The freedom to roam the sea at will is at stake as well as our towns and islands it would seem. I will fight for our freedom to sail the caribbean as we will. :degen:

I would have too say I would go against the pirates and Beckett and fight alongside Jolly Roger.

Why? Because I am sure he [and his army] can put up a pretty good fight, seein' as they're undead and they've got more voodoo powers and stuff. Ye all saw what Roger did to Cap'n Bo Beck durin' the tutorial!

i'll have one of my pirates side with roger and another will not. that way i get to align with both sides!

Lord Becket, I'm afraid, won't be seeing anyone anytime soon....

Now, if Scary Mary had her own crew - shes got my alliegance. Thats one scary broad. JollY Roger would be afraid of her even methinks - that ol gal ain't right in the head! ;)

I would certainly follow me guild but I think we would be playin both sides off the middle as well. P)

The EITC be th scourge of the seas in me humble opinion. Always takin what isn't theirs, sellin their allegiance. :SkullBullet1: Just declare yerself pirates an get on with it! To be actin like an upstandin business an sidein with the Navy... It just ain't right! If you be a pirate say so!

Jolly Roger I'd be fightin till bitter end. :degen: I fight anyone who be takin people from their eternal sleep to live for all time undead. That just be wrong mates. Let the dead rest. Don't be dragin em up to be fighting for you.

As for Captain Walter an his ilk. They be shady as well. Silver toung devils they be. Spouting off half truths an flat out lies at every turn. It be enough to make this pirate stand firm against them.

For me, I fight for me guild, me brothers an sisters in arms. I stand for me friends, whatever their guild. Nothin else matters but loyalty and what's right.

Bah! Choosing sides... Why not fight for yourself and create the story of a brave young pirate who was a prophecy child to finnally end the three way war? then again, thats comeing from me, The StoryTeller. but considering I owe Roger a debt, and that I have some undead energy in me, I will back roger when it comes down to it. but I'm usually fighting alone.

i hear ya man ive seen my share of traitors keep fighting though!

I chart my own course. My allegiance is to myself and a select (very) few pirates who have proved their mettle. Be it Jolly Roger or Captain Walter, they'll both be cut with equal ease by the sharp edge of my blade.

Im on the pirates side, and no other. The fact that the Marceline Guild are pirates does not make them any better, Casa Muertos guild were pirates as well. I dont see any particular role of NPCs here any more important than any other pirate (other than the importance people give them as game GMs).

Working the Casa Muertos guilds quests, in no way means you are siding with Jolly Roger or Lord Beckett (I had to defeat EITC in those quests also if you didnt notice).

Barbossa was cursed/undead at one point in the movies, and look at him now. I dont see anyone claiming Barbossa is siding with JR (and he has technically already been in JRs army, from one perspective).

Other than allegiance to other pirates, I do not think there is anything in the "code" pertaining to pirates allegiances to others.

Very True, but still, what I think is that, when it all comes down to it, if I was forced to choose, well, That would be a secret on who I would side with. (depends on who's holding me captive, he he)

Just because a pirate did the Casa quests, as Zep said, does not mean they are siding with Roger and Beckett. I did the quests not to betray the Marceline guild and pirate kind (although Captain Walter isn't exactly my favorite guy >.>), I did it for the gold and reputation. I'm a pirate, and anything that benefits me, I'm going for it.

Of course, I'm still a pirate, and just because the sight of Captain Walter makes my eye twitch, does not me I'm flying tattered sails and shooting lightning at light sloops. I'm a pirate, and I stand by that. I'm ready to fight Jolly Roger until my Cutlass rusts and my pistol barrel falls apart."Well! Let em' come on! We're arm'd!"

I would join Jolly Roger for your reason =)

But then we ask ourselves... why are we fighting? is there no nuteral zone? heck, I'll double and tripple cross my allies. (quickly glances over to Dr. Zep to make sure that he does not notice that Jacks pistol is pointed in his direction)

After fighting many an invasion already, Jolly Roger has no love for pirates. The first thing he says is "Destroy the pirates & their pitiful barricades". Doesn't sound like someone I would prefer to join. And skelly isn't me best look, anyways....
Aye, I took Rott's shiney & would do it again...if he's dumb enough to pay it to PIRATES!
And for the Kraken Guard, a question: Are you undead too? Ya can smell the evil from Jolly and his minions...I prefer to be upwind of that!
My loyalty is to me guild & the Brotherhood!!!!!

Besides... It's not like we could chose who to fight.

Oh boy, cant forget the one game master meeting. Unfortunately if i say stuff like "Long live Jolly Roger" I will be swarmed with pirates calling me traitor.. Which, unfortunately, im not exactly sure if that's true or not..

Anyways, back on topic. I've been a villains fan for as long as i remember, and it seems Jolly Roger has made his way into my list of favorite villains (Behind Davy Jones, although no villain can top Maleficent, the mistress of all evil! And the coolest of them all.) so it's only natural for me to want to join sides with the villains ^_^ If i could, i would join Davy Jones' crew. But for now, im siding with Jolly Roger. Besides, i ain't called Kraken Guard, Holly Roger or Daisy Jones for nothing! ^_^

Indeed, Jolly Roger isn't exactly one to show of his Pogo Stick infront of other pirates, err.. No doubt about it, Jolly Roger has no love for pirates(That's a villain for ya! :) ) so, it's probably unlikely that we'll be given a choice: To join forces with Jolly Roger or not. But if we could, i would glady join forces with Jolly Roger. It's the Villains Fan Instinct, plus he's a pretty cool villain even though he's kinda a Davy Jones wannabe.. (And he's handsome too! Yeah, im weird.:psmiley35:)

EDIT: Plus he doesn't have much fans, might as well give him all the loving he can get :psmiley35:

No really, I'm a pirate, I lead pirates, I'm the head of a small league of small guilds (of pirates ), and I don't think Jolly would let me join even if I tried.

I'll draw my cutlass against ANYONE who tries to take away my freedom to roam the open seas.
