EITC Hideout

Anyone happen to find the East Indian Trading Company Hideout in Tortuga? I swear I've gone in every building there with no luck.

When you go into the main little area of buildings the hideout is the door to the left of the doc's (its the first door on left when entering courtyard). There is a guard standing in the room with a table and two papers laying on it. I killed the guard and then searched the table.

omg, thank you so much. I would swear that I'd checked every building, but maybe there was some lag or something so the desk didn't show up with a green circle. I dunno.

In any case, thank you!! I'd been trying to find that all day yesterday. LOL

Hey... you happen to find the EITC guy that's supposed to be in a cave somewhere on Tortuga? Says he's disguised or something. I found the Thieves Den, but I didn't seem to find this particular guy. I'm not sure if he's actually named or not, or if I just have to kill folks until I get a quest update.

Tonguetyed 10-01-2007 12:13 AM

Yeah, you just have to kill EITC soldiers until you get the handkerchief. I got it after killing two of them.

Pirate Funnymush 10-01-2007 12:51 AM

You can kill any EITC soldier to finish the quest.

There are usually 2 in Fort Charles, that might be easier to find for you.

But if you do go in the Thieves Den, you need to go ALL the way back of the Den.
Pass the Navy guards, pass the Undead soldiers, then you will come into an open area of the den with no enemies. To your left there is a little castle wall with Navy guards guarding it. Inside the walls you will find a EITC soldier by the door talking to a Navy soldier.

EITC soldiers are high lvl so make sure you bring some friends with you.

you need to find the wildwoods on tortuga. if you go out behind the village, and the pub where you met sparrow, head to the right and you should see an entrance off by itself. follow that all the way through to the end, and you'll see the entrance to thieves den.

Pirate Funnymush 10-01-2007 08:01 AM

Hey uhmayzing, it's not Wild Woods the den is in. It's the other woods in tortuga. What's it call, Kings Forrest or something like that?

But the rest of your directions are correct.

luv2ride801 10-01-2007 11:51 AM

Ok thanks both of you!! (Hopefully I will find it now!!!)

uhmayzing 10-01-2007 03:27 PM

pretty sure you can get there from both. but the path i always take it tells me "wildwoods" while i'm running through the bridge.

koalita 10-02-2007 07:14 PM

Yep, you can get to Thieves Den either direction. I always go through Wildwoods because the little castle thing with the EITC soldier is pretty close to the entrance on the right.

I got my hankerchief from the grunts at fort charles. I had to kill about 6 before it found the hankerchief.

ASuperStitch 10-06-2007 11:35 PM

guess I need a bit of clarification here.

EITC soldiers..................are they the same as Navy soldiers?

If not what do they look like?

Pirate Funnymush 10-06-2007 11:57 PM

EITC soldiers are those dressed in all black. They usually are called Grunts. (Don't remember their other names)

But if it's a soldier that is not in red and white, it is more likely a EITC soldier. lol
Can find at least 2 of them in Fort Charles to the left of the court-yard (if you can call it that).

ASuperStitch 10-07-2007 11:54 AM

thanks, i found that out yesterday. boy they are tough to kill, much help is needed.

Black Beard the Pillaging 10-13-2007 12:39 PM
