After a week of hard fought battles the islands are a safer place - thanks to Pirates from all over the Caribbean! Pirates came out in force to show their strength and skill - and for those guilds that placed in the final top 40, congratulations!

Thanks to all the guilds that participated in the competition - in many cases it wasn't the size of the guild that put a guild on top, it was the efforts of individual guild members who got out there and truly did their part! Take for example Pirates, like Invincible Warlord of McRaging who defeated a whopping 106,609 enemies during the competition! Our hat is also off to Beth Macstack and Benjamin Warmenace of The Guardians, Molly Bluesilver of Black Bart's Krewe, and Rosa of the Emerald Sea Gang! Outstanding work Pirates, again, THANKS TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED!

These guilds will be called up to help fight for freedom in future world battles - so guilds, keep your sword and your skills sharp mates! Here now are the final rankings, these are the 40 Strongest Pirate Guilds* in the Caribbean!

*Guilds whose guild masters had serious account violations in the past 60 days, were disqualified and not eligible for final ranking ? because of the actions of those guild masters, your guild was removed from the final ranking list. The guild masters with account violations were also removed from the final strongest Pirates ranking.

I'm sorry but what is a "bootitis"?

That's what BBK calls the affliction of being booted off site...It happened to so many from different guilds on the last night of the competition. Pirates couldn't stay online to make anything dead... :pirate3:

Also, a BIG congrats to my guild, Partners N Crime. For a guild of 31 members, I say we did pretty darn good job ;) Way to go guild, and everybody who participated!

This just proves how amazing the people on this site are :)

Seems to me the issue is not how large the guild is, but how many active players were involved in the contest. EXAMPLE:

PNC has fewer than 50 members, but still PLACED in the top 20! That says a LOT.

BBK, although a "large guild" has fewer than half the members of some other guilds that participated--and we placed in the top 5.

It's not a matter of overall guild size, it's how many ACTIVE players you have, and how many of THOSE participated and how serious they were about it. Look at Molly Blue--she knocked out so many enemies all by herself that she got a Disney mention. ANYBODY COULD have done that, as long as they had the time to devote and the desire to do so.

Well said Bart , this competition was about getting your guild to work together as a team , those guilds that did are on the list. Great job to all that gave the effort. Very well Done McRaging , Guardians , ESG and BBK ...!!! and a special wOOt ! to Invincible Warlord , amazing job !! would have placed in top 10 if you were a one person guild :)

Aye...What Constance & Bart said. Guild size really didn't come into play as much as perserverance & teamwork of those that participated...

With those thoughts in mind, be wary of the ETC next time around. We have full intentions of not getting a ban between now and the next contest...

And I do heartily agree that it weren't size of the dog in the fight. Look at BBK, no matter the size of their group. It was the CORE dedicated players that did the work. Their top guys did more than many entire guilds did.

My guild, Loyal to the End, made 11th! I'm proud of them, they have been good friends and help me a lot. I haven't even checked the competition results until today, band it's cool we did so good. Great job everyone! :)

Grats to everyone that placed in the Top 40 =) Spania seems to be the only one missing I think from the final results... ROFL Guardians would've had probably another 2K added if I didn't conk out the last 6 hrs of the contest lol... said I was gonna take a lil nap, *totally embarrassed* and I ended waking up 8 hrs later, 2 hrs after the contest ended lol...for a guild that got crashed earlier in July, I'd say we did pretty good for 295ish members.

Guild numbers don't mean that much when most are inactive...u can have a lil guild full of active ppl who would just do about the same amount of enemies defeated as any other big guild where half the guild is like inactive.

Ditto...and with that, :buds: a super WTG to SeaFurys!!! SF hasn't appeared on the Top Daily Guilds for Enemies Defeated for a really long time and they were formerly Top Overall 3 for Enemies Defeated. They didn't get into the contest really until like the last THREE days of the contest, and they flew up the list to #12 when they worked together to get over 100K enemies...::totally impressed:: imagine what it would be like if they had started at the beginning of the contest...

Edit: Not to also mention that SeaFurys only had about 15 actives... PNC has 2x that number I heard. So if small guilds could do it, that means ur guild could've done it as well, toanuju22.
