First off, a HUGE THANK YOU to all those mates that participated in last week's meeting and event.

The turn out was a grand sight to see! PLEASE POST SCREEN SHOTS FROM THE MEETING AND EVENTS!!! Lets see what you got mateys!

As for the event, a round of congrats! be in order for Trouble of Black Shark Inc. and her crew, Winners of the First ever Rumrunner's Rally.

We learned a lot from this first meeting and event.

The meeting spot for the Brethren Court has been moved to a bigger location, and one without Jack the Monkey!!!

Also, and altough the turn out for the meeting was great, it was a little overwhelming when it came time to hold the meeting and put forth the motions that needed to be discussed.
We did however manage to get the first rule of the Code of the Court Established and voted upon.

(I will be adding a posting with the Code of the Court once the code has been discussed and established hopefully by next week)

AS FOR THE MOTION OF VOTING FOR PIRATE LORDS! THE MOTION HAS BEEN STRUCK FROM THE FLOOR!

The reason for such being, voting for a Pirate Lord would exclude other guilds from getting such a title as well as cause internal strife , conflict, and unneccessary drama. The title was to be ceremonial in nature with the purpose of said mates helping organize and plan for upcomming events.
We need volunteers to help run logistics for meetings and events!
This will be brought to motion at the next Brethren Court meeting.

Race Around The Caribbean

Race will take place right after the meeting and will start at outside of enemy ship region.

Race layout is racing around all the Islands on the outskirts of the map (away from enemy ships). Judges will be placed at the outside of certain islands and racers will race IN BETWEEN the judges and the Islands for the laps to count. NO SHORTCUTS will be allowed. Racers may have a full crew or they may sail on their own.

Ships used for the race will be the Galleons (any galleon u have will work <dont want to say just War Galls incase someone dont have the War Gall just yet>)

The race will be a 2 lap race.

I am sort of new to pirates online forums. So I need to ask a question. Is it only GM's of guilds that can come or all guild members of a guild that is in the bretheren court? Thank you in advance.

two members of the guild that are appointed as the representatives of their respective guilds.

So only two people that were decided can come?

Per guild, yes. It is just to speed things up. Each guild has to decide who to send that will represent such guilds. Those two will be the voice of such guild with their proposals and concerns.

This is just for the meetings though, 2 mates per guild helps speed up the meeting process.

If there are any questions or ideas from your guild mates, they must be submitted through your Representative at the Court.

That being said, it is for the Meetings ONLY

My humble apologies for not being able to hold a meeting for the last 2 weeks.

RL obligations have me pretty busy until the end of the month.

There will be NO MEETING for Wednesday 09/23/09

I hope to hold a meeting next week Wednesday 09/30/09.

We will be covering the ALL of the motions before the court since our last meeting and any additional motions made before next weeks meeting.

What if I say wanted to bring a member of the guild to come enjoy the meeting and then a different one the next week ( I know, probably not)but just wanted to be sure , might bring one a week then see if one wants to be full time.would that be possible? We ask that each guild bring forth [2] REPRESENTATIVES ONLY to speak for their guild, so that matters may precede a pace, and we may get underway with the Event, once the meeting is concluded.

News Update:
The TBC has recently been approached by a representative of another alliance of guilds seeking a Merger with our Court.
I would propose that before we entertain this idea, that a Co Op to some degree first be explored.
The members of TBC have worked hard to make this Court what it is. We go by our Code, so the idea of a Merge opens the doors to a lot of discussion on how such an undertaking could be accomplished.

ARR!!!, finaly! Now, i have not filled out any offical member mo bob thing but am hoping (if it wont offend anyone) to simply sit in and listen to how you guys conduct such a grand alliance. I will likely not bring any representatives cause most of them will interupt, but i do have a few adults who help me manage my web site who will be able to help me in the future. Also, i may be a tad late, like 8:40 central :( i hope this is all ok, cause i have tryed more than five times in the past to make it to one and check you guys out. And im sry if this is all just a burden to ya mate, i just wanna know what im getting into before i do this, savvy?:piratewheelgo2:

-Steering Committee Volunteers : Now that The Steering Committee is to be separated into [3] Branches, we will need 3 Volunteers to head up each branch.

-Keeping your guild mates informed! TBC is to the benefit of the guilds involved, not just the GMs and Officers that conduct the meetings. Please make the effort to trickle down the information and topics discussed here and at the forums and encourage your guild mates to become involved!

-The Code: Article VI - The Articles of Sovereignty have been added to The Code. Please inform your GM / Officers / Guildmates of the updates.

-The Caribbean Poker All Stars Tournament - November: Tuesday Nov. 10th kicked off the beginning of the November Tournament. Players are invited to join in the next round of the match taking place Tuesday Nov. 24th. Check the Calendar for Time, Location, Server and Rules for the Tournament. Spread the word to your Guild Mates. Also check out "The Caribbean Poker All Stars Tournament Results" to keep track of you and your competition's chip stack.

The representative from "The Brethren of Guilds" has informed me that the organization has disbanded and that some guilds may seek membership with TBC.
We welcome new guilds with open arms and are happy to have more pirates taking up the flag of pirate community participation.

There will be no meeting this evening due to technical difficulties with my machine.

Hi, I'm Sarah Stormfury, GM of applying guild, Divine Legion. I'm supposed to be attending a Court application meeting, but I've been having many computer issues and I may have missed the meeting in question. I'd like to introduce myself to the Court, but I see no upcoming meetings scheduled. Is there any information someone can give me so I may be available for a meet and greet?

Thank you for the Welcome. I have already applied. I'm just hoping I didnt miss the chance to be a part of the Court by missing the meeting. I applied on the 1st i believe. I will check the calendar to see the schedule, and hopefully my guild and I will be accepted. Thank you for the information.


I have gotten the Nov 25th meeting marked on the calendars of my guild reps. Is there a possibility that Divine Legion will be among the topics during the meeting? Either way, we will be there. Again, apologies for my absence on the 11th. I hope we will still be considered for The Court.

My PC is finally working again me mateys!

Turns out my floppy drive was dying and crashed my entire system on boot up.

The meeting for Wednesday December 2nd shall proceed as scheduled.

I will be posting a meeting agenda by this evening.

I might be on the wrong forum, but was there suppose to be a tbc meeting tonight on kakoago server at 8:30 central time or was i mistaken? I waited on the Port Royal docks for about 40 minutes with about 7 other people and no one else came. Did I go to the wrong location or did i just miss something? Sorry if I missed a recent note about it . Thanks :bookishfj7:

My apologies to all ye mates about last nights meeting.

Some last moment RL issues came up that prevented me from logging into the game.

Still catching me breathe from the end of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

HOWEVER!

Next week will be a clean plate as I should have the time to get things rolling back up to speed with TBC.

For those guilds who are new applicants and are in probation period, the time will still be counted even though we've not held a meeting.

The meeting agenda for NEXT WEEK will have all the details pertaining to membership and the announcements we will be covering for next weeks meeting.

I was just checking site for a posting of any meeting news. I was waiting for a meeting the last 2 week2 with about 7 others, but no one came. Since the calendar doesnt seem to be updated for December, I'm just making sure the time and location of the meeting tomorrow.

RL duties have had me really tied up and I have been unable to get on line much.
