It's September
 

Ahoy mateys, welcome to September! Apparently, that's not what Pirates Online thinks. It's September the 1st, and PotCO was scheduled to open some time in September. Unless it opens at noon, I think we've got a long month ahead of us.

Pirate, I can pretty much guarentee that they MAY open back up after the 15th of September. You know how PO is, they may not open back up this month.

you know, they could open today....but think about it...would you like it if you were making a game and had a release date like september, would you like it if someonesaid why isnt it out?Look It can come out today but have patience please

I agree with Sr. Penguin. It will most likely come out in the latter half of the month. That just the way Disney rolls.

whoa whoa is the actual game coming out in september? i just thought it was the 2nd beta phase???

well they are saying the game will release fall of 2007 but if the phase 2 beta is just starting i don't know about all that... i'd wait longer to make sure the game is complete and 100% playable but thats just me i guess i don't want to pay for a half complete game.

Maybe I need to send them a bribe...er...reward to open the doors once again?

Wow, they Have held us with this for almost 4 years or something. Come on! they should finish the game!

i have been waiting for ages now didn't get into phase 1 (i gt unlucky) now can't for phase 2 becoz i am not in U.S. so i really hope they release the actual game soon

I doubt the game will be up this Fall. There is still lots of testing to be done before they ask people to pay to play.
I foresee the game opening to the public ....sometime in January.

Should be have a Pool and see who get's closest to the date it actually opens?

I will guess 2/2/08 for live, but what I really want to know is when do we get to go back in and do the second beta phase? Does anyone know? TT is sooooo not working for me anymore, I need the open sea, not the crowded streets. :dancetl6:

Phase 2 was suppose to be open sometime this month. But, at the way it's going, it doesn't seem anytime soon. The game itself is suppose to open in Fall, 2007, which won't happen without the Phase 2...

Well, TT is down at the moment (golf bugs), so I figured I'd check up on all the pent up pirates waiting along with me...and see if anyone knew when phase 2 would actually start. I am so ready to (remake, I assume) my pirates! Let's go! (Do the same guys who work on TT work on Pirates? If so, I imagine they're a little busy with the new TT playground that just came to open.)

VMK is also down now, so it's probably a Disney-wide problem.

Apparently pirates is in the late of September. It takes a while to re roll the servers. Also they may have accidentally deleted everyones accounts. Small stuff can happen just by a Server update.

Everybody's accounts were most likely deleted. That's how betas work. If they add something new they want to see how it will effect from the beggining. Or not. Either way I'm getting bored of waiting. Argg :skull:

I hope that potco opens soon! I love the movies, and this looks like fun!

I just hope there isn't as much lag, and the quests do not have bugs :) If my account is deleted in the proccess, so be it lol, as long as the game is better to play lol

The game will be out before the end of October and i only know that because i got an e-mail from them when i asked a question (was totally different then the answer). Here it is:

Thanks i seen you guys all trying to figure out when the game would come out and since i got the e-mail yesterday (8 hours ago or whatever e-mail said) i figured i would share the info and help out my fellow PotCO lovers :laughks2:

Brandon, some people reported that very same email in July or June. Only weeks later, POTCO closed till Phase 2.

Of course, it may have happened in August as well....

maybe there gonna have phase 2 on untill like mid october when its prob done since it should be well close to dont and open it up because from what friend tells me it doesnt need a ton of work like it did in Phase 1
