KK guys, this pirate has been grounded AGAIN!!!!!

Was in the middle of posting the LB results (Leaderboard for those who dont know what LB means), when this pirate got an INDOOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY!!!!!!! New power supply (I do believe it was the power supply AGAIN...awful smell coming from it anyway) started popping and shooting sparks (hence the indoor fireworks). Been taking precautions at night when I boot down by unplugging the power cord so nothing bad would happen.

With this latest incident, I do believe that me puter will have to be sent into the puter people to fix (last time power supply blew like this, it fried the motherboard).

Will get the LB posted today, but wont be able to do it after today.

I will truely miss me pirates AGAIN, and here to hoping everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July.

Talked to the tech peeps and since puter is still under warrenty (4 months old) and having this much problems, I may be getting a new rig since this one seems to be a faulty model (hey, that what the very nice dude told me). Will know more Monday when the main puter peeps call.

I'll still be here on the POF but as it was the past couple of times, no pirates. At least this way, I can still get sum what a pirate fix here (not the same though as being ingame)

Sorry to hear about your computer fireworks display Li. Will be missing you Li. Redfury's is still ok though, right? Might want to keep an eye on it.

yeah for the time being it is. Seeing as both mine and Red's puter are the same make and model, we watching hers as well.

Will know more after this weekend on what the verdict is on mine though

Maybe it has to do with your house/electrical wiring, since both of you have had problems.

Push for the new computer or you will have to do this all over again. and it will get you back to us quicker. ask if they have a equivalent model and say you dont like there set up ask them to upgrade you, never hurts to ask.

when i talked to the tech guy (an American in fact), in not so many words I may be getting a new rig from all this. wont know until i talk with the puter peeps monday

Sorry to hear about this Li. I think there's a lot of inferiior electronics out there these days - we've had a slew of issues with new appliances.

Talked to "Joe" the tech guy this morning. I will be out for at least 5 days while puter is sent into the puter company. "Joe" feels that I got a 'faulty" model and with it being under warrenty, I will be getting a new rig. He felt so bad that I have been having issues with it for the past month. He gave me his info and now if I have any issues (of does Red), I can contact him directly and he will do his best to fix the problem.

He was concerned about Red's puter as well, seeing as hers blew a power supply two days after my first one went (hard to have a power surge hit it when they are unplugged). Lolz....Red and I now have our own "personal tech guy," so he says.

As far as puter wise, motherboard is shot and so is the power supply (DUHHHHHH). Once the new rig gets here, I should be back with no problems.

Until then, happy pirating and happy plundering. I shall see you guys on my return to game and maybe then I will stop hijacking the niece's laptop to tend to me pirate stuff.

after a screw up with the pick up date for my puter (was supposed to had been last week), the Fedex peeps arrived and picked up puter for puter company......Here's to hoping I will be back up and running b4 too much longer

Made call to puter peeps and me puter made it there safely yesterday. the gentleman that I talked with said that I should have puter back by this weekend (I realllllllllllllllllllly hope so) but he made no guarentees on that. Here to me having me puter back this weekend.

I feel like the ice-storm all over again. :(

kk talked with puter tech peeps for the second time today (had a feeling I needed to call). After talking with the tech guy, the verict on me puter is:

a faulty harddrive causing power supply to pop. new hard drive and new power supply installed and puter will be here mid next week.

was hoping for a weekend return but it dont look like that will happen. Just thought I would let all me pirate friends know the latest update on me puter woes.
