What's your 1-day rep record?

Hey all, A few weeks ago I completed my first level 40 on POTC, getting 33,000 rep in one day via training weapons, and I just want to ask everyone, what's your record for the amount of reputation you earned in 24 hours?

swashbuckler II 06-17-2009 11:11 PM

about 40k-42k just a rough estimate.

The Commodore 06-17-2009 11:52 PM

24 straight hours, or 24 hours of game play. For 24 straight hours, about Swash's. For 24 hours of game play, close to 50K, maybe a little bit more.

no idea never counted single days tally....been getting 0 reps for so long...wouln't remember anyway...lol

The Count 06-18-2009 01:14 PM

Davy Keelhawk 06-18-2009 02:48 PM

Hmmm, well my best 1 kill REP is 1210 (I posted a pic of a 1208 some time ago, but here at work moving around the forums is painful to hunt for it right now...). I got lots of shots though of 800-1000 REP during double events though...

My best day REP probably around 55,000 - 65,000 (it may of been better - but this years Double REP event was not at a good time for me - so I only got to play for, I think 4-5 hours).

Edit: found the 1208 pic :) The others I'll have to look for later...

Yesterday

Yesterday I banked 33,490 reps in 3 hours using double reps and just sailing.
The double reps really helped a lot.
With small crew of 2 and myself on my ship I was consistently getting 500 reps per ship using cannons and broadsides. (250 per weapon X2)

Basil Dreadflint 06-18-2009 05:02 PM

My one day record was on a very rainy (I was trapped in a hotel during a hurricane) day, and I had just gotten grenades at midlevel Notoriety 20. Played off and on all day long and ended up with nades at level 21, and Notoriety in low 25 range. Figure it was about 46K in rep, give or take a few.

Your Gladiator 06-18-2009 05:14 PM

mine about 55,000 to 60,000

Stephen O'Malley 06-18-2009 05:44 PM

I' not quite sure double rep weeks count ;). You do sort of have an advantage...... lol

EDIT: Never mind. I must have missed that event. Next time there's a double rep event I'm not missing it.

Oh thats right! The fathers day REP thingy is on... time to make the donuts - er - grab the 2x bonus (at least on the pirates that haven't done it yet... unless they fixed it ;) )

Can someone explain to me how you can get 250 rep per enemy? With the double rep that would be 500 rep.(like CaptainGreen said) So how do you get that much rep?

Just wondring because the most rep I've ever gotten from an enemy was 200 with a crew.

CaptainGreenGene 06-18-2009 11:20 PM

simple

You sail your ship with 2 crew members which is a 25% crew bonus.
You sail up to a Death Omen and use the cannons to take out all the sails. Switch to round shot and hit the hull until its about half way sunk. Then go to sailing and fire the broadsides until the ship sinks. You get 200 for cannons reps and 200 for sailing reps and 25% of 400 which is 100 reps for a total of 500. This is assuming you have double reps otherwise its 250 reps on a normal day. Still not too shabby and the gold isn't bad to boot!

James 06-19-2009 12:46 PM

Yesterday I got about 35k rep without using the double rep bonus. Just blasted veterans all day with staff. Ended up on the leaderboard too :D

rockhero234658 06-27-2009 06:15 PM

Probably about 40K or so.

PirateMaster 07-09-2009 01:46 PM

My one day record was roughly about 11,000 to 12,000 I got about three level ups on Notoriety that day, mostly because I played all day, went sailing alot, and when to kingshead:piratewheelgo2:

Davy Keelhawk 07-09-2009 08:03 PM

the most rep you can ever get from an enemy is 1800 weapon and a 25 rep bonus
100 rep each weapon=600 plus max crew= 300 = double rep= 1800 =plus treasure= 1825 rep total

Now if you do an enemy multiple times.....

Davy Keelhawk 07-10-2009 12:10 AM

no you wait for its health to recharge

Sven Osymthe 07-10-2009 12:27 AM

The enemies health doesn't have to recharge if your skill points aren't spent on your attack skills. If everything has one point, and you just alternate, you are able to get the full 1800 without letting an enemy gain health. (only possible with dbl rep)

Edward Edgemenace has done this quite a bit, lol
