wow, are they now just taunting us, with these small fixes??

Oh good!! Its "various" minor bug fixes... I was afraid it would only by "a" minor bug fix..... phew, that was close mates..! ;)

Minor bug fixes...heh, probally so minor it didnt even make it to the game itself :p

the level of quality information in this release is staggering.

Agreed, they need to tell us what was fixed.

I'll bet the wall hack I reported 3 weeks ago still works.
I wonder if I still am under the deck when I board my ship.

Just logged in and here is what I see:

About a week and a half ago we had that day where we all had some problems logging in. I have posted several screenies about what my screens look like ever since. My graphics have been totally messed up. Pirate faces are all pink, hands are black, walls and textures are psychodelic.

Today when I got to the pick a pirate screen, after the update installed, all my graphic settings were down to "Low", my screen came up as full screen (And I always play in windowed), shader level 2 and shadows were turned off, my sound effects and music volume were maxed,.... In other words, all my custom settings were lost and reverted to the defaults.

All this, and I haven't even gotten ingame yet.

Hopefully the bugs they fixed were graphics bugs!!

Edit: oh yeah, it wouldn't let me pick a server on the way in.

Second edit: Nope graphics are still messed up!

May this be a lesson to all to get out of the furnace before it begins to destroy the tissue. If they can't fix the main problems of the game, then we best not support them any longer.

Its still one of the best deals ive seen for MMORGs and I have more fun with it, than the others. Yes we want changes, yes we want things fixed, but we're playing it because we enjoy it.

Seeing no comparable alternatives (and ive tried a few that claimed to be), i'm hanging on, enjoying what there is, and hoping for more.

Although I'm one of the biggest complainers about the lack of new content and this latest release and the effect it is having on families, I agree with Zep 110%. I've played other online games, I have Xbox, PS2, and Wii, and I still get more bang for the buck here than any of those other venues.

Nice to see that some important issues are being taken care of. Anyone even know what these "minor bugs" are?

Simple, there were some bugs that crawl in attics, and they can't reproduce now.

I dont know.. I just bought a few Xbox Lego games cheap, and Im enjoying em more... but then, I can play with my family there. UNLIKE Pirates now...

Tis dark days for Pirates Online. And to think the Disney corporation, with its entire company based on family, just...... poof.
