Not a happy pirate!
 

People keep telling me Pirates is full of nice people. So why are the only people I find that I don't already know mean people who do nothing but shove me around, shoot at ships I'm trying to sink then shoot at ME, and other assorted meanies!:degen: I've been hunting high and low:piratewheelgo2: but I have YET to see a nice pirate! Where are they?

There are nice ones out there - trust me! Perhaps meet up with some forum folks to sail, or to quest!

Keep faith. You just have to keep looking. There are plenty of good pirates out there! Many you will find here on the forums. :)

Hey Mel remember it takes some time. None of us found friends on PH overnight either. I am so glad we have our Pixie Pirate Pals to get us started & I am hoping to meet lots of you forum goers soon too :)

I too have had the same problem. I usually encounter rude people in SvS. When I was in a really big guild(500 people) I had a great time. The only problem was that the guild master was(is) hardly ever on and the officers usually didn't stop and think.
I was banned from the guild for shooting a cannon when I was told not to in the boss battle. I was a measly low level that got kicked from a great guild because I messed up one time.
I know I'm trailing off topic but I miss that guild.

You know, it only takes one mean or biased person(in my case two) to ruin your fun on POTCO. Maybe someday I'll find a good active guild.(Sorry. Drowning in your own self pity is hard to do without rum.)

Even nice pirates have bad days, so it could be you've caught them at the wrong time. There are nice pirates out there, i've met plenty.

I've also met my share of rude pirates that see your leveling and take over the spot without saying a word, and do so by purposefully griefing. Then they act all high and mighty when you call them rude, as if WE are the rude ones. I've learned over time that this is actually humorous. Cant believe how some people tend to act in the game.

Don't give it up, there are good pirates out there, and if you need and cant find help, post something here on the forums with a time, server/ocean, and a location, and you'll probably meet a few helpful pirates from here on the forums mateys!

Most of the pirates I have met here are very good players and nice and polite players. Well except for Sban O'Smyte... He is excellent at banning!!

There are quite alot of people on Pirates that are a little rude...:bookishfj7: To find the nice ones, just chat a little and try to do stuff that helps out with one another. For example, I sail for someone that asks me nicely and I usually get to know them well:buds:. When you go into places where pirates are leveling, try helping one out by healing them untill their enemy is dead. Most of my friends I found them like that, almost by accident lol. There are many people on here too, that are very kind and willing to help! Good luck mate!:piratewheelgo2:

Come find Bucky McBadskull or Eliza Creststeel. Usually, one of my two regular pirates can be found on Andaba recruiting crews for plunder or randomly aiding pirates in need.

Personally, I barely SvS and don't talk smack about PvP. And no one can bring the backup like the Amazon Eliza (Level 40).

Awwww, sorry that your not having fun yet! Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with you at some point when your around the other pixie pirates.
I've found most pirates to be extremely helpful and nice... sorry your experience hasn't been the same. And, I think you probably know by now that the best way to find nice members is to go these forums. Seems lots of nice pirates running around here!
