Juliana Maria 05-29-2009 02:50 PM

Possum? Peculair choice.. Now you've caught my curiosity! What in the world could a possum play in this cujo production? :D

Bartholomew Foulsteel 05-29-2009 03:01 PM

WHA? I don't get it--funny, but I still don't get it.

Li Wildtimbers 05-29-2009 03:19 PM

country living + wild critters = interesting day. Baby possum decided it wanted to come see Li Red yesterday and scared the heck out of me. That right guys, Big bad Cujo ran for the hills.

Your Gladiator 05-29-2009 04:06 PM

lol thats funny

wulfric 05-29-2009 04:21 PM

and thems good eatin'

Basil Dreadflint 05-29-2009 04:21 PM

That's great Li.

You need to compare notes with Sarah. The other night her cat brought a live bunny into her house and it was hiding in a closet.

Sarah 05-29-2009 04:40 PM

HA, nice Li. (and please don't ask about the bunny, i'm still not quite over the trauma...)

Li Wildtimbers 05-29-2009 04:58 PM

ROFL........ i would sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo take the bunny over possum any day.

I not over the trauma meself. Every little noise in the kitchen I look to see what it is (along with jumping and running away).

I not gonna say what Redfury had to say about it either. She found it funny

Redfury 05-29-2009 05:05 PM

Lol. There I was sitting in the Doctors office with Iron and Squidy. When cell phone goes off. A very panicked Li (Cujo) freaking out about a possum in the kitchen. I get home, to find a still freaked out Cujo. And a little baby possum under the sink. I got the possum outside and fixed the hole it came in though. And Cujo is still freaking out everytime she goes in the kitchen. Rofl Country life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad she did see the Raccoon on the back porch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

combatlizzy 05-29-2009 07:36 PM

Bartholomew Foulsteel 05-30-2009 01:37 PM

Well, I haven't had any opossums in my house, but I've had signs of them under my deck. Also bunnies--we have LOTS of bunnies here (none in the house, though). And bats in the attic. Had to have a pest control guy come out for that--we'd wake up early in the morning when they'd come home and hear them scratch-scratch-scratching as they returned to roost.

Good news--no bats were hurt in the eviction--we found their entrances and put a one-way door over them. They just flew out one evening and couldn't get back in. They probably just moved into the neighbors attic, but at least they are still nearby to help control the mosquitos. Saw one last night when we got back from the movie flying around.

Once I thought I saw a human in the house, but apparently it was just a strange flat object that distorted light. It wunn'n real! Still, it sent shivers down my cartilage.

Anyway, possums: I eat them for breakfast, as well as anything else that moves in my waters.

maximilian 06-02-2009 11:43 AM

wow, the only possum i seen in me parts would be the brown kind, the garbage foraging, stinky city dweller, aka, the RAT!

Funny story, thanks for sharing
