It's been rumored the EITC Black Guard are interrogating Pirates for information about the whereabouts of Captain Walter and the Marceline Guild. Be warned Pirates, these devils are also offering rewards for the Marceline Guild's capture - don't trust them mates! Instead continue to take the fight to the EITC on both land and sea!

Yay another lame event for me to avoid and enjoy the out doors this weekend.

I think its ok in my openion . Because some people dont know how to Role play . If they dont like to role play....then .....Dont come near the area and done particiatape...... I for one will defintly be there and participate wiht my Daughter . i am trying to show her the right way to play a MMO game like this the right way . if a parent does nnot take the time to show there kids how to play then they will never learn. At least Disney are makeing it possible for us to show our kids what to do ......And also i hope in the sceme of things i hoe this is a way in the right dirrection of getting to what we all want ... ( Hopefully ...Hehe )

Well, one can only role play so much. Weve been role playing before, ever since the GMs started showing up in the game. Unfortunately in most cases, they told us very cryptic things, that never eluded to much. So to many of us, it turned into a waste of time. Had nothing to do with enjoying role playing or not. Depending on your perspective, simply playing the game is role playing.. the role of a pirate. These role playing events they do put on, seem to play to the younger players, that are easily taken in by the speak, and the seeing of 'special' players (ie GMs) in the game. Having spoken to several of them.. I didnt find the process very entertaining.

Why not just give us EITC Uniforms and a new quest where you visit a new EITC Island. More of a training camp, and you must act as an EITC guard until you find the Great Assassin Boss at level 45. Of course you would need help to defeat the boss, but this be a fight for the sea, and would actually be fun for some people just to wear an EITC costume and to just see a new island...

Role play? A bunch of noobs SHOUTING and hurling useless voodoo and grenades while the GM act out their scene - then leave?

That's not role playing. I've done role-playing and that ain't it.

The GMs need to break up into either pairs or singles and INTERACT with the players IF role-playing is what they're after.

Otherwise, let a bunch of experienced players have the opportunity to play EITC so there are more of them and on more often. The GMs could tell those players what story elements they want to push...

I'll refrain from commenting on this one.......

What bothers me is, are the devs really the ones playing? If so, why? I'd rather see them work on the game than go out and have role playing events.

I believe the GM's are not exactly Dev's, but more like long-term testers. They have content like the Kraken and such on their plate to test out. They don't exactly program it, but they give input and thoughts about how to fix problems and also how to make something better or fix something. I mean, they could be considered Dev's, but they seem a little laid back for that.

I also believe that they can preset their level's to 40, and that's why they don't have points on their weapons, but that's just my opinion.

i just want to know whats the reward if any of u know pm me i hope its a chance to pvp a eitc guard or steal their clothes

I believe the reward is being able to interact and role play with GMs, and they may occasionally through a reward code of sorts to some pirates.

this is lame very lame...., i think after this is over everythings gonna come out IT BETTER!, i think there stallin so they can get it in the game, if they dont realease it another month maybe alf of the game will quit..., they need to fix this lag problem its been here since beta and when the game was released...

Im not having that many lag issues. Perhaps only in intense fire fights/ship battles, or in situations that are obviously laggy moments.. 100's of pirates all in the vacinity being mischievous with their staffs.

I take that back, I have had lag issues on my older under powered computers.

I believe the award is if you are actually around to hear them say something other than, "Where's the Marceline Guild?" They may say something about a possible update. And even with a story quest, they have added nothing to impress me or even make me want to go back yet. I could really care less to do another story quest though, and really, how long could it last anyways, all that's good with it are the Boss Battles, collecting stuff you don't even get to see gets really old...

they've set up the event to make you think that it's built around the EITC, but actually, on some servers, they have a Marceline Guild member on ahead of them who can give information before the EITC shows up.

In truth, this isn't a hunting mission, more this is an effort to plant story telling clues in advance. Be patient, mates, they are, in fact, building to something.

Well, heres some info that I found out this morning.
-According to the EITC the Kraken is a weak, made up , wives-tale
-This is odd, in the movies I don't remember EITC saying Mate all the time LOL but they did
-The GM said sails are changing on the sea (? didn't really get that part)
-Jolly Roger might be helping the EITC

This is what I'm hoping too, which is why I go to all of them.

I keep waiting for the moment when the Black Guard really does capture the Marcelline guild, and we have to rescue them, resulting in a huge story quest that ends with us sailing the members of the Marcelline guild past the Kraken...

Kraken: Probably because they are either lying about its production and just saying that it will come along. I am not getting high doubts that they will release it thanks to that.

EITC: That be because they have no clue what the movies were like probably, they go around and do as they please while we say, MAKE SUM'TIN.

Sails: I think that this may possibly mean something along the lines of something I thought would come out around SvS. The changing of your sail colors, but will that be all, or will we get full ship customization and possibly more islands and stuff. This could possibly mean anything, but we will hopefully find out soon enough(AKA: in the next year if we're lucky).

Jolly: Probably so, and the reason being that they can't afford to lose any more soldiers on either side, they're spineless, you don't see us running to get help from the navy though..

- The Kraken I think is being designed as a co-operative between the Jolly Roger and EITC. Think of it as a Manhattan Project for POTC. Ergo, makes sens to deny it until the end.
- I use "mate" a lot too. Dunno too many more Pirate words to use, sad to say.
- The last two points are where I think I've stumbled on to something and it's so subtle that it's brilliant. :bookishfj7:

OK, since, what, right after Christmas, the Marceline Guild has been leading the raids on the EITC and sinking their ships, right? Along with the stuff with the Black Guard, we've been led to believe it's all just fun and games.

I thought the same thing too until I was doing some skeleton ship hunting and noticed something interesting: the sail remains on the skeleton ships look like EITC sails. Once I had that piece of the puzzle, it all came into focus.

The EITC is baiting the Marceline Guild. They WANT ships to be sacrificed, they want the raids to be successful as it gives Jolly Roger an increase in his army. Hence my theory of a deal: Roger gets his army by EITC getting fed to the Guild, in return, Roger unleashes the doomsday option on the Marceline Guild in order to finally shut them down and give the EITC control of the seas.

It's all a build to the Kraken, kiddies. That's why everything has been going on. The raids, the island redesigns, the Black Guard, all of it is built into a long in-story explanation as to why the Kraken is going to show up at all.

I actually enjoyed yesterday, but only because I ran into three of them on a pretty quiet server. Played along with their "interrogation", which was un-enlightening...

I have thought about the EITC working for Skeletons for months, but the problem is that it is just like a monster with no body. You can't steer a ship without a stern, much less have an alliance if it doesn't show that the skeletons and EITC are working together. I'll be honest, your theory would be good, but I highly doubt they ever had anything like this in their minds, and if they did, well it'd be somewhat of a miraculous bout.

I actually do believe Jolly rogers army is sided with the EITC, Because today the Black guard said that the EITC were being aided from a stronger force, when they were out numbered.

Me And Swash II where on a roll today finding EITC, Turns out us Pirates and the EITC ended up having a war. Antassa is where all of this happend

Since I was the highest level there they started asking me ?s about Walter. Then me and the other pirates that where there drove them off. And According to them PIC is the next guild to be hunted down after Marceline.


Then came another EITC Member then he got "Backup" which was where it got intresting


Then after that they brought us up and started "arresting pirates" This was pretty funny a girl started flirting with the EITC until the EITC guy said "STOP, I am a married man."


Then Captain Walter to the rescue! The EITC and Walter started arguing


Then Walter ordered the pirates too Attack!



Then the EITC started surrending, with Captain Walter yelling YOU ARE OUTNUMBERED SHAW! (I stand with such proud pirates as Zep ;))


Then the EITC Fled we won wahoo! Heres Walter giving his victory

If you ask me about Captain Walter, here's what I think, just an average GM, who probably got to level 40 in one day because he broke the system....

I think he's mostly all talk, and I know that he needs help since he can't sink all the ships by himself. I'm just hoping that he doesn't get so scared to make an alliance with the Navy....

just wondering who are the pirates with orange font colors? And what is GM? General Motors? lol j/k. Sorry for the noob questions :p

On the Forums the "Yellow-Orange" are those who were the first 5000 people to sign up on the boards - in game they are the first players of the game who have been playing from the start or signed up before December 2nd 2007... GM's are two things a) in general they are the Guild Master or Leader of a Pirate Guild (Clan) you can join b) when talking about the special events GMs are the Game Masters (we believe to be Disney POTCO Staff) who act in-game to events and such.

That Black Guard Cometh was not cool, all it was , was a couple of admins come and talk, it was nothing special.
