Keep to the Code Mates!

Recently the EITC have been seen interrogating Pirates! We're glad to see that Pirates from all over the Caribbean are getting into the story -- some of you have even sided with the EITC as spies!

Role-playing is great, but in any situation, always be respectful to your fellow Pirates! Harassing or threatening Pirates that don't want to role-play is not only rude, but could get you removed from the game. If you want to confront other Pirates and role play as an agent of the EITC, take the action into PVP and respect Pirates that decline your offer. Read the Pirates Code of Conduct - avoid actions that could cause your account to be suspended!

Did you know when you're in a crew you get special bonuses and can level your Pirate up faster? It's true! Crewmates can also help you complete Quests quicker and perform other hard-to-finish tasks with ease.

Whether you're looking to join a crew or start one, we want you to join us weekly for Crew Up Days. You'll meet Pirates from all walks of life (maybe even a GM or two), ready to crew and set off for adventure!

Don't want to wait? Crew now by boarding a public ship!

Crew Up Days
When: 7-8 PM PST, every Friday & Saturday night starting May 22
Where:Port Royal Beach (where Shipwright Darby Drydock is located) on Antiros and Baraba Oceans

NOTE: During the event, please be respectful to your fellow pirates - DO NOT participate in disruptive behavior and STOW YER WEAPONS.

WHAT?! You mean we get BONUSES when we're in a crew?!

There sure are a LOT of "keep to the code" news entries.

Yeah, it's pretty intresting that this is the second one in less than a month.

Wow who knew, lol. I like being crewed it helps, but they should do something a little extra for these events.

Well, this is a bit disapointing my Cousin invited me to play WoW but i'm keeping my faith in Disney. c'mon Disney bring us something besides reminding us about crewing every month!

Everyone gathers crews on a regular basis, what makes this event so special? Double normal bonus with crews? I can get a 100% bonus now?

Oh you know, the occasional childish guilds out there that are so bored they feel the need to bother other guilds. Been happening a lot lately, guess its from the lack of content.

Guess it goes to shows you everything gets back to the big D. ;)

I saw Star twice, and I saw Maria Fireheart once. Hmm?

What's up with the front page, it was looked good when I posted the first two announcements at noon and now it's screwed up.

Checking on the other thread, it seems Star is both a first name and a second name. I wonder how that will work out.

But will we be able to change the names of already owned ships? All but one of my pirates already has a full war fleet. Would be pretty low if the naming winners could't use the name they won with.

Wow... I have been critical of Disney over the last couple of months for the lack of game content, now I am just confused. Really this is classified by them as news? They keep telling us to keep the code, and tons of pointless information that shows up on the loading screen tips all the time any how. What will be next month? I will eat my hat if it is " Keep The Code, and remember: Don't Pet The Scorpions" .... ( Now hanging my head in disbelief...)

Thats a good point.. but I doubt it. D has to get you to spend even more money in useless ways somehow ;)

Besides - I like the names I have now... I'll probably just stick with those :)

It would be nice if we could change them.. but maybe they will add new ships with the "major updates" we are expecting..

That would be very unfortunate if we wont be able to change names for our already owned War ships. I would be very disappointed. PirateGirl I hope you are right! :)

I hate to say this, but I doubt they are going to allow anyone to change names on existing ships. There is no mechanism for this presently. I think they will just add names to the ship names list.

It would be nice to finally see new ships!
I remember during the new Tortuga tours people where asking the GM (I forget which GM it was) about ship customization and he said to look for it within the next 30 days...and here we are still waiting.

Aye, Im probably not changing my names either all my ships are named Victory Shark
PIC's War fleets name. I have to say some of these names sound very cool I don't think PIC will be mad if I change one of my Ships names ;)

LOL Nah, I might change one myself. ;)

I don't plan on changing any of my ship names... not until they put in some names of the spheniscidae persuasion, at least. Of course, that's just me. :psmiley35:
