From Wednesday, May 6 to Sunday May 10, show that special lady you care by getting a tattoo for Mom. Available at all Tattoo Parlors, a variety of Mother's Day designs are available for a limited time - wear it proudly for dear ol' Mom

I know that sounds mean, but I hope the developers to stay focused on the big picture, and the big updates!

The tattoos are more than excellent, I don't need to trot around like a buccaneer florist... :laughks2:

I agree, Mom doesn't want you to get her something that will just wilt, she'd rather you inked yourself permanently (well, for the length of the event) in her honor!

Oh Boy just what my mom wanted me to do, sport a tattoo on an online game for her.

If it goes like it did last year, there are no quests to unlock them, they just pop up in the tat shop. ;)

What am I supposed to do? I don't have any room for additional tattoos in my inventory. Why don't they spend more time fixing that and less time putting out useless rehashed junk like this?

Guess I'll either have to get rid of my quest tattoos or my St. Patties Day tattoos....

well, looks like nothing NEW this year for mothers day.
If they did the same thing for mothers day....

Totally agree. However, like ToonTown and the other big d games, they tend to put out the same holiday "events" every year. Fireworks, Special Tats, Green Seas, and Pork Roasts are something we are more than likely going to be seeing every year in Pirates. Hey, they code it once, flip a switch, and it's back. A no brainer for them. Which is sad IMO.

It's new to some players at least...still wish they would put something out for the 40's though.

This I imagine is a major part of the reason they are working on revising the inventory (hoping it effects tattoos as well).

When they had the last special release skull cap, I called support 3 times, spoke on live chat 4-5 times complaining about these limitations. It was quite interesting to get a quick blow off answer, and when I told them as a POF moderator, i'd share the answer with POF readers. Miraculously after I said that, it was funny how each and everytime they decided to try a bit harder to help me, trying to get a better answer. That particular incident (skull cap event) resulted in their grog blog itself being full of negative feedback for the first time. I think they finally realized this is a problem. Not that it put a priority on the fix though, here we are with another special event, and no room in inventory to get them. In their defense... they have alot on their plate. We want alot, and it 'seems' they waited a little too long to start addressing these issues, so we are all understandably losing our patience.

I like this guy....anyone else like this guy??? Can I give him a cookie???

I reread what i'd said, and well didnt mean to implicate that 'my' actions were the cause of them planning on revising inventory if that was the way it sounded, but the last special release bandana event... I think finally opened their eyes. And hey you guys (and gals) are all alright yourselves!
