Vent server info
 

All DW guildies.

There is a new post on our private website re. the vent server. Please take a look at it.

If you don't have access to the private site, just ask an officer for the addy. Go there and apply for membership, I will approve all guildmates as soon as I get the request.

If you want to access the vent server, go to the private site and read the thread called Ventrillo server, then go read the one called update to vent server. Or you can just PM me here.

I have a question about Vent.. I bought a new pc and it has windows 7 on it. When i go to the vent site it doesn't have a download for 7. So my question is... What do I do? lol :psmiley35:

EDIT:

I contacted our support group, and the answer I got was "Ventrilo and Windows 7 do not always cooperate together."


IF anyone else in the guild is using Vent and Win7, please let TK know what version of vent you loaded and if you had any problems.

You need to know which version of Win 7 you are using. 32 bit or 64 bit. You need to download the correct version of vent client based on your win version. Even then, you may end up with a bit of lag. Vent is working on a new client for Win 7.
