Lvl 6 weapons?
 

I saw in a post earlier that lvl 6 weapons were coming out but when and how do they look? :treas:

Test news would still show up in the news section. Speculation or rumor, even if it has foundation with Disney.

Disney HAS suggested they are/will be developing a new story quest, not. cap raise, gold cap raise, etc. I assume that new weapons will be thrown in there somewhere. Swash II has pics of new weapons I think?

Sadly, can they just keep adding barrels to the guns? and if the Pirate Blade is the finest sword one can have - where do you go?

Will they make weapons that incorporate voodoo magic?

Could use imagine the possibilities then? A sword endowed with Scorch or Wither? A pistol that fires Flaming Skulls!?? HAHAHAHA... Yikes. thats a little much for my geeky mind to wrap around.

ok swash 2 questions.s How in the world do you have those pics and is it true that kraken is going test with the new test updates early may?

1. They are in the phase files.
2. I dont know cause im not the developers but using what the host GMs said, We would need better weapons before the kraken comes, so unless the updates in may include new weapons AND the kraken. I dont think the kraken is coming in early may.

ok how would i go about accessing these phase files?

Doesnt work alot for me anymore but works sometimes.

The only thing I found interesting when I saw the level six weapons in the files was the Quad Barrel pistol.

The Kraken may look done but there's still some AI that needs to be done. We can't just have the Kraken grab you in certain points on your ship.

um. that still doesnt tell me how to see into the future with whatever this "panda" thing is

Panda3D Is the game engine disney uses to make toontown and pirates, Using panda3D, you can excract the phase files and view the files in them.

What's interesting is that there are some developer blogs, etc. out there for Panda3D... I did a little digging and found a couple of the Disney guys postings, etc. After all, some people do move around.

But I kinda' hit a wall at that point. Was posting this thought because if anyone wants to pry farther they might able to make contact and either get some insight or be able to directly make suggestions for the rest of us.

Panda3D is made and used by Disney for their gaming (can be reviewed on their sites if ya dig around enough for it) and we have more than a few posts here on Panda (if anyone would like to search ;) ).

Those who do programming and use Panda3D (or have used / tinkered with it like SwashII) have discovered the graphics files within the phase files. The discussion on that is fine...

But...

Discussion on how to use it to 'break' the game though - will be closely monitored and action taken should it cross any boundaries.
