Sweeet! Is there a due date to submit this by? Or by the end of the month?

I need it by the end of Wednesday April 29th (yes, that is midnight)

Are 23/24 the same question. It's that, or my comp isn't resizing the words properly.

23 is "What be the name of(2 words)
24 is "The place where your character begins the game."

Ok, that's what it looks like to me. Are they supposed to be different questions with words left out, or at they the same question?

Uh oh.. this pirate isn't too good with words lol.. but we shall see =) Looking forward to the challenge!!!

There are a few I'll have to go in-game for but other than that this will be a piece of cake for me. I've always liked crossword puzzels.

I'm confused. 23 across is correct above as being "What is the name of the biggest ship in the Navy Fleet?"
However 19 down is the same thing basically "What is the biggest ship in the Navy Fleet?"

To me that's the same answer, but those spaces are different so something is incorrect.

Of course if I had gotten more answered by now I might know what belongs there lol.

23 across should be

"What be the name of the 'Navy's finest ship'?


Maybe that will help the problem and again......sorry I didn't verify before posting, but the site has never let me down before;-(

21 Across What is the biggest ship in the EITC fleet? You do not have enough spaces for the name.

19 Down The biggest ship in navy fleet? Are you going by level wise or ship size e.g. war galleon or war frigate?

14 across What rank is June Greer's Navy Boyfriend? That doesn't quite work if you are doing the squares correctly, because 11 Down is 2 words and the first word ends with an S so the second letter of 14 should be an I.

Would it be easier if we did not use the squares and just gave you the answers to the questions instead. I am not trying to be a pain, I enjoy the concept I just want to make this easier on your part.

Correct - the answer entry was mis-spelled (I double checked - it should be "i" not "e" - I'll inform Tep.

So for everyone info - 14 across: letters 2 and 3 should be entered as "ei" not the correct spelling of "ie" until Tep responds :)

FYI - I informed Tep yesterday after I completed mine and sent in. I figured it was a spelling issue as it threw off the other obvious answers.

Thanks Max, I figured it out. I had to think a little harder.

Does that also apply to 16 down and 21 across?

I will take the blame for the mis-spelling of the "ie" vs. the "ei" in 14 across. I'm so fluent in "typo" that I never caught the mistake when I submitted it to Tep.

What can I say, I have fat fingers and they don't always hit the keys that I tell them to.

Why don't the Disney folks come up with more stuff like that? Like POTC trivia, etc. If they can take the time to do an April Fool's joke... why not divert time away from the features we want.

Tepcat gets the credit for the puzzle, not me. I messed up the one with the typo in it!!! So I take the blame. LOL

Correct me if i am wrong but 9 across has 1 too many spaces I believe.

9 across is fine, try thinking of similar terms to describe his job. It took me a little bit to figure it out.

Just to make sure, there's nothing wrong with 23 across, besides what the clue was, right? Because that's the only one I have left to fill in.

I have all of them. I printed the sheet out since it is *.jpg format and cant be filled in. How should I submit mine?

Are we to just submit the answers or is there away to put the entries on the crossword puzzle itself?

I just used Microsoft Word with the list of across and down answers (by number) and then copied and pasted into a PM to Tepcat. That should be an acceptable format as I have not heard otherwise.

I just wrote them down in the PM using the across and down by number

You can print out the puzzle, write in the answers, scan it back into the computer, upload the image to the net, and PM it to me.


OR


You can simply write out the answers using the down and across format of the clues and PM that to me

Hey POF Staff... just wanted to let you know that despite my initial reaction to the whole badging system (which I'm sure all of you would recall was none too nice), I really enjoy both the badges and the contests. My hat's off to all of you for the fine work you do with this site, its members, and bringing it together with POTCO.
