Treasures

9 Attachment(s)
The following is a list of the items that you collect in the game. I have also added pictures of each collection. Please note that it appears you get the value of each treasure as you find it. You can not sell the items once you obtain them, they just appear in your journal. My list here is now complete. However, there are more to come according to the journal! Stay tuned and I will update as skill (and time) permits! Any assistance you can offer to update this list would be greatly appreciated! See you in the game!

Thanks, Captain! Anyone else have any more to add?

You can get 4 of each of Rudyard's Teeth.

GraceWildRage 10-28-2007 12:18 PM

Thanks, cptruthless! (Arg, good to see a VMK buddy here!) I have added some other items to this list, but am still missing a few. Anybody have anything in their journal not listed here? Thanks!

Silver Beard 11-04-2007 12:06 AM

i have never got any treasure from digging and it says No quest items found.

GraceWildRage 11-04-2007 12:32 PM

Silver Beard, these are the treasures that you get when you defeat the enemies in the game. About the only time you will find anything from digging is when a quest specifically tells you to dig.

Silver Beard 11-04-2007 03:27 PM

ok...i see. but i did do a quest that said to dig and it said that so is there a bug? the quest said to dig on port royal and i dug in about 4 places and didn't find anything.

jg007 11-04-2007 05:01 PM

sometimes you have to dig quite a lot to find the things, also I dug about 8 time and found nothing then it suddenly completed my quest while I was walking about :), so probably still a few bugs ( not the dire wasp sort ) lurking about :)

Batleth 11-10-2007 04:39 AM

Here's what I have so far on Odds and Ends
http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/g...ddsAndEnds.jpg

Still looking for a Shrunken Head to complete my list.

Still have quite a few Valuables to get.

ScurvyCory 11-10-2007 04:51 AM

This is the rarest thing that I've found... Fire Opal. It's worth 100G.

Good going, Batleth! Here are some of my pictures, which have been made in PSP by combining lists belonging to my open and beta character:

redcloud16 11-13-2007 09:31 PM

is there some sort of reward to completing a set? just curious, as a pirate I be happy enough with having treasure.

Pirate Rose 11-15-2007 04:52 AM

Right now there's no reward, just the pleasure of collecting a set :)

grimmhelm 11-28-2007 12:23 AM

treasure

soooo what exactly is treasure for, i know the compase is in there along with cheat cards but other than that do they have any use at all?

GraceWildRage 11-28-2007 12:41 PM

:12_1_138: Each time you get a treasure, you get gold. Other than that, they are just pretty to look at in your journal! :laughks2:

Chickee 11-28-2007 01:04 PM

That stinks. There should be some kind of reward for completeing a collection.:treas:

Vandelay 11-28-2007 01:27 PM

They should make it similar to Toontown fishing. For every x number of treasures you find, you should get an experience boost. Or maybe if you complete the entire set you should get a nice large boost.

jadedstatik 12-10-2007 11:19 PM

Here is some more info

I personally think that the treasures are just fun to collect and it excites me everytime I complete a set. I would like to see a complete list of all the treasures.

Here are my comments to help update your list based on what my pirate (not beta but open) has (I attached screen caps of both my treasure chess and tia dalma's menagerie collections to show you the info is correct):

Even though my treasure chess is not full I can tell you exactly what there is to collect (I have found multiple of the queens and kings but only one is needed for each, I'm positive):

8 Silver Pawn
2 Silver Knight (I don't have any of these but I guarentee there will be 2 just like the gold ones)
2 Silver Bishop
2 Silver Rook
Silver Queen
Silver King
8 Gold Pawn (I only have 1 of these but again I guarentee there will be 8 like with the silver pawns)
2 Gold Knight
2 Gold Bishop
2 Gold Rook
Gold Queen
Gold King

For Tia Dalma's Menagerie I have these additions (I also think maybe you should state what levels each treasure unlocks but the only one I remember is that this tia dalma one unlocks at notoriety level 33):
Stump Figure
Scorpion Figure
Vampire Bat Figure
Jaguar Figure
Shark Figure
Wolf Figure
Crow Figure
Rock Crab Figure *just received on 12-12-2007*

Also your "Navy Medals" section should be called "Navy Decorations" and you have navy manacles listed under both navy decorations odds and ends and it only belongs in odds and ends (based on pics from Batleth's post I don't actually have that one myself). My Navy Decorations collection is complete so I also included that screen cap.

Capt. Guster 06-24-2008 09:27 AM

Is there a guide anywhere that tells you which enemies (or maybe just at least which types) will give which treasures or even just which to kill to complete sets? I've completed both the teeth and the portraits while the odds & ends and valuables still have items to go.

Chris 06-24-2008 02:41 PM

that is completly random no group of enemies gives u a single treasure

AntiMatter22 09-12-2008 08:06 PM

At what notoriety level do you unlock the Rhineworth Rings?

EDIT: Found out that answer myself. They unlock at notoriety level 25 and all you have to do is visit Barbossa.

ukebec 10-25-2008 08:26 PM

I just got something from General Darkhart on PDF - "Pirate Slayer Mark - new." Says it's rare - got 152 gold. I looked in treasure in the game and on DxD and can't find it. I don't know what it was.

League 10-25-2008 09:00 PM

That'd be a navy decoration ukebec.

ukebec 10-25-2008 09:28 PM

Ah - thank you League. I looked there, but must have missed it.

*edited to say: My DxD and the treasures in the game don't agree. DxD shows I'm missing white gold earring and turquoise bangle from valuables, Pirate Slayer Mark from Navy Decoratiions, Right Ring Finger from Rhineworth Rings and Alligator Figure from Tia Dalma's Menagerie, but the in-game treasure chest shows I have all of those.*

zhiyong 11-30-2008 01:59 PM

Great going Ukebec. That is the one treasure that I am looking for to fill out not just my navy decorations but all the treasures out there to date. Maybe I'll have to go back and keep conquering General Darkhart

The Skirata Clan 11-30-2008 06:50 PM

They obviously have area for adding content available.

There actually appears to be alot more to this game than we can currently access as well. When it was released, they closed up alot of content as it wasnt ready yet, and they were in a race to get published due to competing pirates MMORGs.

edwardburnskull 12-23-2008 02:01 PM

Treasure has no use other than to collect, It gives money too.

Truepaine 02-09-2009 04:25 PM

There is now a new Treasure grouping for Cannons of the Deep. You activate this grouping by playing CotD (pirates online mobile version) and transfering your ill gotten gains to a pirate on your online account. I'm still missing 3 items but this is what I have so far (no this is not a test server thing):

Broken Ramrod
Cannon Flint
Cannon Wheel
Dented Cannonball
Gunpowder Flask
Ignitor
Recoil Rope
Silk Swab
Silver Ramrod

Thanks for the info. Could you post us a picture of the full item list once you've got it complete? I'll be adding this info to DOW shortly to keep everyone informed of the mobile game and how it interacts with POTCO.

Truepaine 02-09-2009 09:53 PM

Certainly, I'll add a new screenshot as I fill in the remaining 3 items.

Game over. So we meet afterwards at the Roudy Rooster for Rum and cheese.:buds:

Actually, nothing happens. You just get them all. I expect that they'll expand this section some time in the near future. There was talk about a trading system during beta but we haven't seen that yet or even heard an update about it.

A reward would be really cool! Not that i don't just love the 10 gold everytime i get treasure, but maybe a bonus gold or a rare weapon? maybe just a knock knock joke from disney, something to make me feel accomplished!

Knock! Knock! Who's There? Disney. Disney Who? Disney:mybadki6:
