With the Unlimited Access event in the lead, I have to ask- are we SERIOUS?! Of COURSE every single basic player is going to vote for it, but I'll be HIGHLY disappointed if they hold an Unlimited Access event again (as opposed to, say, double rep). I'm also pretty surprised that Jolly Roger's Curse has ANY votes...

So anyway guys- let's get to the Disney site and vote for an event that US, the people that PAY for the game, can actually benefit from.

You kiddin' me???? Why would they not toss that in as part of the Double Rep/Double Gold weekend??? What do unlimited players get?? Oh man....don't get me started.

I think I voted for Double Gold because my baby pirate could use it. To be honest I don't understand why Basic Access would want Unlimited Access weekend back anyway. If I remember correctly, they don't get to keep any of the temporary upgrades anyway. So unless you play all weekend to get use of it, it's not the biggest of deals. I could be wrong they I wasn't basic at the time but a friend was :piratetongueor4:\

But I do get that it is a nice benefit for those who don't have unlimited.. I think it would be better if they made it longer for them though (if they did decide on that event)....

I voted for the curse all though I could use the double rep, but that should be back along with the fathers day quest. ( well maybe )

I disagree - curse was cool, but frankly, it was completely pointless. We've been talking about how we want SUBSTANCE....

I rather see the double rep/gold weekend event...Jolly Roger's one is cool...but it lasts too short.

Wow, give basic members something when they dont pay, and dont give unlimited something and they pay, what has the world turned into??

It's turned into a money-making deal for Disney. They give basic access players a taste of what they COULD have in hopes of having them sign up for unlimited after they lose the free access.

Actually I was one who signed up after the last unlimited access free period since I enjoyed it that much and disliked the more crowded screen on basic (can't have full screen, etc). So I can understand why Disney would want to do it, just that should only be for people who sign up that weekend or something.
I don't much care for double rep since rep is easy enough to get, double gold would be nice though.

The curse was cool for all of about 10 minutes, then it was a nuisance, and yes, it was pointless.

Absolutely none of the options do my maxed pirates any good.

I dont vote for any of it, well perhaps Double Gold if anything, I can spend that or spread it amongst my pirates, and my friends. Have no use at all for any of the rest.

so, are we just voting for hope? what I don't think its fair its to give MORE to those that don't or can't pay. If they give unlimited weekend, they should give double rep and double gold for those that pay. but, we know that that is not going to happen.

Heck, we don't know if ANY of them will happen. And personally, I don't think they will (in the immediate future, anyway). And if they did... you're right. A great event for basic AND unlimited would be too good to be true. But shoot, we can dream, right? ;)

i think with the money disney is getting from us theyre gonna fund a "college musical" with the same dorky actors. but id say that double rep is useful cause my lvl 20 could use it.

Can we add another option? Like: A NEW STORY CHAPTER

And I just noticed that they are no longer giving the year subscription. Just the monthly and biannually options or redeem a card. Good thing I have already got my year paid for.

Back when I payed for this game(Which I may never do again thanks to the new islands) I enjoyed to have double rep and double gold. It was a good way to get a character I made up to level 20. Muertos moon is where I gave up on this game, too much lag, and definitely too many glitchers. Now with the new islands and all the secret glitches they have, I would never ask for Muertos moon. I especially hated the Unlimited access event, it seemed that too many non-members came on and decided to still be noobs, taking up server space as well.

Truly, after I quit my access, I quit the game, the reason being, it was too layed back and boring at the time since it was an update drought(Events such as Christmas and New Years events do not count). But truly, I see no point in even having limited access, just a waste of server space.

I bet most of the people who voted for Unlimited Access for a weekened are all non-paying members. I don't want to see these people who don't pay get as much as I have during a few weekeneds of the year.

Why should non-paying members get anything? I'm tired of Disney giving benifts to people who don't pay for the game. It's like telling me I can turn my homework in late and get all the credit for it instead of the teacher throwing it away.

Unlimited and double rep are about tied right now. I voted for double rep.

I am sure many as I don't get any kicks out of double 0. Though double rep should help get those not been stuck with nothing for over a year there sooner.

Wish I could post just one little video as a response. Like 10 different places to hide on the New Tortuga and Port Royal for the curse.

Well anyway the votes are looked at based on the whatever it is 90% basic accounts of free rides, or those that have left with no content ever being added players. 90% will always override the other 10% that have been loyal.

Even double gold is pointless now with the phone game that can rake in gold and transfer, with it already being way to easy in the first place.

Are we serious? Unlimited is getting the most votes?? In my opinion, Unlimited weekend is a good way to get people to start buying the game but what about us with Unlimited Access? What do we get? The people paying for the game are the ones that are keeping it alive. I think Disney should seriously reconsider and have a weekend, such as Double Rep, where NO players are excluded.

Well I am basic but I would vote for double gold so that when I do upgrade I get a war frigate. double rep does nothing for me. and the curse sucked. Unlimited on a vote is being unfair, that should NOT be on the balot. If I did get a weekend, It would be short and with not much change. BTW if you transfer 1000 from cotd during 2×gold. do you now get 2,000 gold doubloons?
