So - I Needed Some Money For A War Frigate...
 

- Buying a Barrel of Grog for playing poker to transfer gold from my Big Pirate to my Little one... 500 Gold...


- Losing a few hands while getting the Computer Players tipsy and having a few laughs... 2000 Gold...


- Winning the MOTHERLOAD of Jackpots from all the computer players for my new War Frigate without having to transfer my gold in 20 Minutes!

So my big pirate and my baby pirate were gonna do a gold swap... and everything started off normal. We played a few hands, and lost about 1000 Gold each because the computer players just didin't want to quit. On the third round though - theres just a Queen and King on the board - I have a Queen... my Big pirate has a pair of twos, and another Queen shows up. I'm looking at the board thinks "ok - there's no flush out there, no strait out there, no chance for a full house and the only thing that can beat me is IF someone has a king for three Kings.... do I risk it?"

OH YEA! I play the table... all the computer players keep betting while my Big Max and Baby Max keep raising - and they KEEP BETTING... around 20,000 I'm nervous cause I'm thinking "if I get out now I've only lost 4000 gold on each pirate - but if I go ALL the way it only costs me about 9000 gold each pirate".... I press on...

WINNER! And all it cost me was 9000 Gold! So my big pirate still has 50k and Baby Max now has more than enough to by the big ship!

Ya gotta like computer player sometimes :D

The funny thing is the other guy wasn't in on it and got really mad when I won.

I'm quiet tied up at work - but a few extra notes:

- I did notice the possible Strait if someone was holding a 10 / J when the King had come out... but because they were so willing to only 'call' the bets and not beginning raising on that hand (which they usually do if they get a strait) - I felt 'fairly comfy' that no one had a 10 / J in their belt (though now seeing the hands - it is scary they ALL had a pocket J... just no 10 to go with it :D)

- This only left the possibility of someone having a pair of Pocket K's (but once again - no raise from the NPC's led me to believe (espically after that K showed up) that no one had a pair... so I pushed forward...

Of course.... it IS called a game of chance! This could of all went south very quick - but when the computer is willing to hand over over 45000 gold - I'll take it :D

Whoa, nice take max. I have been in same hands like that, usually works out Eric there also has a queen with that ace high, lol.

the best way to give gold is keep raising until they all fold, then bet to get to the ammount that you want to get, then if they keep calling then call till they fold then once again bet till you get to the ammount you get... hope i helped

Well, that was what I was trying to do (pirate gold swapping after four pirates is pretty basic stuff :) ) In this case though the players did not want to quit - so when I got the hand and the cards you see in the pic I played it - and just got lucky enough to win D:
