Site too dark?
 

Am I the only one to whom the site seems too dark? Maybe the text boxes could be another color other than black, as that is hard to see against a black background.

I do agree, it can get a bit annoying. However, it fits the POTC theme quite well.

Everything looks fine for me.

I think as long as you keep the text bright, there is no problem. But the dark red text for the navigation could be fixed. ;)

Sure, it's dark. But the movie IS dark. So it kind of fits. ;)

Anyway, if it's too dark, just turn the brightness of your screen up. It might help.

I agree. It is a tad' bit to dark.

We should have a choice of the theme. Maybe we can have something like VMKF's? I would like that bunches, that suits my eyes.

I'm sure we'll have more skins soon. But this site has just opened. So just give it a few months. No rush.

I think it's perfect for the movie. You don't see bright colors in the movie at all, this movie is pretty much made for dark colors. You don't see the characters going around in yellow and light green now, do we?

But I guess if it hurts your eyes than that's a reason why it would be bad. They'll probably come out with multiple skins to choose from, but I personally like this skin, it's perfect for the movie.

Am I the only one who doesn't have an eye problem with the site? My eyes are fine reading threads on here.

Personally, I'm not that font of dark skins. I'd appreciate a brighter skin, but I'm still okay with this one.

Personally, I think it's fine. I was kinda hoping for a topical-ish skin, but this fits the theme much better. :}

It does seem dark. The thread about the pirate smileys was really dark, I had a hard time seeing most of the smileys, I now feel like I have old woman eyes. ;)

Now, the screen is appleasing.

It's okay. But if they changed it, I would be fine. Yellow shows up good on this though. ;)

As long as the text stays white, I'm fine with the forum style. :)

I like the darkness. Fits the game just fine in my opinion. :)

I'm telling you, just turn up the brightness on your screen. If you don't know how then ask a parent. I promise it will help.

I think the colors are just a little bit too dark, they could still be a tad lighter. The dark red is the most annoying thing to me, a lighter red would probably be easier to read.

But the light red wouldn't please the dark surroundings, and maybe that odd mix will hurt your eyes even more. -_-

Well, there is an option somewhere on the site where everything is just black and white. And there aren't any pictures. I don't remember how to do that, but you guys can just do that if it hurts your eyes so much.

I think that it is a little too dark. I also think that the default font on here should be changed to something a little more Pirate-ish. I personally think that Trebuchet MS would be the one for that.

I like the darker background, it seems very piratey. I think it would be nice if there was a more piratey font though

A pirate-esque font would be awesome! Maybe just for our usernames, though. The font for all our posts would get a bit annoying after a while.

If the site was all white, we wouldn't be able to see anything....
I personally like the skin, as I've stated before.

the only thing i've had trouble with is the white text in the white boxes for toruneys

I think we should maybe have the options to change the color schemes? That way each person could make it their own.
