Am I the only one that looks at that picture (knowing they took it in-game on TEST or similar) and just scratch my head wondering how they got the facial features to render correctly?

Yeah, my hair was brown and now it's blond. Ew.

Well on the bright side tortuga looks nice i like the swamp area :)

I liked the run down shacks for tortugas look lol.. i personally think it looks more piratey! Port Royal can look all fancy but our simple houses have personality! I wish they kept it a bit more run down because we pirates be simple folk.. who are not very tidy either lol! Arrr!!!

It's fake alright, they changed the character look. They should have an option to at least change the look. My pirate hair looks shiny.

Well, except that that would be a first. All the previous ones have just been from in-game (sortof) with special programmer-glitches to make characters do particular actions. I still want to know how to drive the gypsy wagon for the Mardi Gras parade...gah...a glitch I haven't figured out!

I wonder if they have the same problems with the ATI Video Cards, if it looks bad with that, then we'll know this is another famous 'improvement'.

Stoopid question?? Why did they change "DOC' Grog to "DOCTOR" Grog? He's a pirate like everyone else on this island. Why the formal name? I reported that on Test, and I know it's a minor detail, BUT..........

OBTW, I think I'll build a new pirate named ORKIN. As in, The Orkin Man. Maybe they will let me kill bugs on open, since they ignore the bug reports on test and issue it anyway.

Has anyone seen scarlet lately shes huge! As in tall my guy used to be taller than her but man now she is like a good foot taller than me!

Also in port royal there is some overgrowth of plants near the tatto store..... we call it the tree of life!

I just checked it out, and Scarlet didn't grow... she just learned how to float...

That I had reported a few times. Its not just that but alot more there going on than just the growth.

I see growth not floating lol because our feet were level. I reported scarlet and the tree of life who knows what they will do.

Well probably nothing. The tree growth seems to come and go, but what I am referring to is a wall glitch. I reported it long before release and the tree growth as well. The wall glitch at the corner of the gem shop is easy, and can take you down through the rock by the boat right.

I even whispered that to a GM on a town tour, with no response. So assume its just not considered important, well until a curse comes and everyone stands in the rock tossing grenades.

So there is that.

I am starting to miss the old Tortuga now...and my hair too after it went from brown to Blonde...I hope the next island to be remodled is Cuba.
