Piper wasn't here for the first Scav Hunt, was she???? She doesn't realize exactly how critical, and ACCURATE, (Spelled OCD) I am about the scoring process! Piper, even in a friendly competition, I am seriously competitive. It's truly a good thing I run these, and not participate, so I score them just as tough. There is no such thing as playing favorites here, that's why I spell out the instructions to the letter. I allow leeway for people crashing, extra persons to go on a team, a temporary loss of a player, etc, because it is just a friendly game. BUT, I score this as fairly as it is possible.
Although you can all pretty much figure out the scores from the postings, I will actually score all sections once, put that away, wait a couple of days, score the entire thing a second time, without referring to the first score, compare the two to see that tey match, and investigate any mismatch to figure out why I would have scored it differently! Then, I make whoever I want to be the winner have the highest score and declare them the winner! See, no favoritism!!!! |

Darn it! On Tuesday I left my Lappy at home during the 3 and a half hour wait at so called Urgent Care, after several Tests, driving myself back and forth, then finally being told I need to go to the Hospital ER via Ambulance (cause they wouldn't let me drive anymore, duh) Only to be told by ER that all beds were full, so they sat me in a chair which I had already been doing for some 8 hour or so. Finially, a Nurse stepped up and said "we need to get her in a bed, we have people here taking up beds with colds and headaches." around 10, 15 mins. later I was finally laying down looking at the clock and thinking about missing the Hunt. About another 15, 20 minutes later, I was given Morphine and hoping they would find an "open operating room." 2 and 1/2 hours later around 10pm, they told me Surgery will be at 6am the next morning. After a night of constant pain and Morphine.... After speaking with Sarah, She said I can still join your team Max (Wooo Hoo) I'm really sorry to my Team for not being there last Tues. I'll be there if you'll still have me this Tues. Stitches should be healed but Sarah's right, don't know how much laughing I'll be able to endure. Again, thanks for ALL the kind words.. If only I had my Lappie, I would have placed it upon my Appy, cause maybe it wasn't Heartburn after all:psmiley35::psmiley35: Thanks again Sarah for being such a Sweetie!!! |

Oh yea, *woop*woop*! we got the ships... even the Juggy (which 'another team' sank the first one on us so we couldn't get the credit before we had 4 members aboard to shoot it LOL :D - we found another... cause we are pirates dang-gump!) *wooooo!*
I must say... living in the 'Max' Time Zone made this much harder than I thought... I can do OCD... but starting at 9pm already (and ending way too late) makes for a very hard next day (I think I'll be napping sometime today...) - it is one of the few times I do wish I lived a few timezones west of here :D |
