Invencible Glitch Again?
 

Ok, I konw the jail glitch is gone. That was fixed with not being able to exit through the door to the jail. But....The other day I was fighting with a friend on the beach. I crewed a pirate there, and he wanted to get Darkhart. So, being a good crew leader, I attuned him so that he can fight Darkhart. This pirate was Lv 27, and his cutlass Lv was only 17. Yet...he never lost a point from his healt! What is going on? Anyone know what he did to be invencible?

Unless they have fixed it, there is a bug in the undead raider bosses - particularly Darkheart.

Stand about 5-6 steps from the rock at the bottom of the ramp that leads to Darkheart.
Used a ranged attack weapon such as the pistol or grenade.
Darkhart will come to the bottom of the ramp throwing daggers.
As long as you do not approach or run away, he will stay on that spot.
After throwing his daggers a few times, he puts the daggers away and switchs to his fighting stance with dagger in hand.
Once he switches to the fightiing stance, he no longer throws daggers
So long as you do not approach or leave until he is dead, you can stand there and take him down.

I have reported this to Disney several times. Hopefully they will fix this soon.

In part of Rackat's question - it does matter where he was standing... was it where Rackat mentions - or was Darkhart actually hitting back?

As of yesterday, the Kingshead, Wildwoods and Thieves Den invincibility glitches are fixed on OPEN. So you shouldn't be seeing this anymore. *crosses fingers*

The Darkhart 'glitch' is not an 'invincibility' glitch, it is a flaw in the programming. Basically it is that the NPC stops attacking rather than the player becoming invincible. I accidentally found this out right after Darkhart and the other bosses were introduced. Darkhart is the easiest I have found, but the others have issues as well causing them not to attack - at least the regular bosses on PDF. The random spawn bosses do not have this error.

I will log into open this afternoon and see if it is still the same or if the recent update fixed it so it will continuously attack.

It is still the same. As far as I'm concerned they can fix it after they do something about grenades, i.e. make them so they are no harder to level then the other weapons. Grenades are the biggest flaw to the regular part of the game (not SvS or PvP) and should be treated with at least as much concern as glitches. Sorry, off topic, but if a glitch serves to counter balance a major flaw like grenades then I don't have much problem with it.

Ok, I see I needed to be more specific. This pirate was using the cutlass on darkhart. He actually ran up to the boss and was getting hit back, but didnt lose any helth points. I know of the "trick" with darkhart, that isnt what he was doing. There must be a new invencibility glitch. I have personally checked the jail glitches and they are fixed.

The darkhart trick isnt just with him either. Other raiders do this when they are attacked. Seems they run only so far after using the daggers and then pull out their cutlass and just stand there for you to throw something at them.

Was that before or after the 2/11/2009 update, that fixed the three main invincibility glitches?

Edward I was present at this same beach and witnessed it. It happened after the 2/11 update as it was last night. This guy was clearly invincible.
So seems there is something else now, but he neglected to inform us.

Darkhart has had this for a good while, other bosses also. Around the time they came out I posted how to get something like 550 rep off these, nothing has changed.

From what I have heard there are invincibility glitches not just dealing with jail, so if all these were fixed, I would really doubt it. From what Edward has been posting, most the common jail glitches have been fixed though.

thats not the only one theres another that your gladiator found you get caught cheating at poker and when it says that you hit esc as fast as you can then run through the door

Well I have seen low level people (PvP people) killing stumps in el sudoron and not loose any health.

There was an invincible fighting in PR on test last night
 

He fought for hours and hours but wouldn't tell how he glitched. He was invincible without question.

As others have mentioned, probably the poker glitch. I've posted a youtube for it, but didn't think it was worth an extra post in the A/V forum here since it is so widely known.

You pirates might know about the Outcast glitch, but since I don't use glitching it is new to me. Pirates go into the stone walls and can throw nades from there. You don't see them unless they are crewed...thenof course, the mugs are a dead give away....

The outcast wall glitch I checked long time ago, last time I checked that stumps came into the rock. Is that one have a spot again now like Kings?

Ok, I am so bored with no content, I went and did some I knew, about 10 minutes ago on test.

This one is reported, and don't bother to ask. They are out there for a fact though, flying invincible, just need a little wand now to cast invisible. I should take a movie of some of these one day. Another one not mentioned here appears to be killed though.

Yes there is a specific spot by the rocks to get in on Outcast. Some of me buds found it. But being probably the only pirate on POTCO that can't glitch (don't no y that is...lol) I couldn't get in meself.

From my 'research' I have leanred how to do it again.

How to do new God Glitch:

1./get your weakest ship, or buy a light sloop.
2./ Go near a ghost ship.
3./ Right before u sink tp to your port of call.

Nah, I believe "if" it is an intentional part of then it should be left in the game. If it is not intentional, it needs to be fixed for the game to be played the way it was intended.

No, any ship will do, as long as you get the timing of your teleport to coincide with the ship-sinking animation.

When they changed the flagship boarding rules, to allow crew members to return to a flagship from jail (after kicking cell door) they added this bug/glitch/error. Of course, that change was wrong to begin with: boarding the colossus flagship then going to jail, then going right back into the same fight, then going to jail again, then going right back into the same fight again, then going to jail again, then going right back into the same fight a third time, is just wrong.

This glitch is OLD. Very fun to use tho when you wanna have a secret meeting or something of the like. ;)
And yes they did fix it, stumps just run right through. Its been fixed for quite some time now, in that way but to get in to the hill still works.

can you teleport around with this glitch? or does it still say your in jail?

No, i havn't seen this glitch or heard of it. I know theres one where you tp somewhere right before your ship sinks, but i don't know if he did that. I don't even know if it works.

I know a shiip glitch too. you try to get your ship sunk but right before you get to the cut scene of the ship sinking you teleport to your port call or anywhere else you can teleport to then you have invincibility I do not know if they fixed it though Ill go check it out though.

If you use the ship sinking glitch you not only are unable to tp but if you go through a door of a shop or a fort you will be stuck there until you log off. I guess you can call that justice! BWAHAHAHAH !
