Never rename a boat--all ships are registered in Davy Jones' ledger. If ye rename a boat, ye'll just go and make him angry, and then the Kraken of the Caribbean will be comin' fer ye!

Of course, that MUST be the reason ye can't rename yer ships in POTCO, right? AND why we don't see the Kraken too, right?

Witchdoctors won't shrink yer head if you do the zombie dance before you attack them.

Never jump into the water to access a dinghy for ship boarding....these waters be shark infested and full of other dreadful creatures! Legend has it, the Kraken lurks in the cold and murky depths of the uncharted waters. You may lose more than just a leg mate. Dead Men Tell No Tales........

If this should ever occur stop all you are doing, take two steps back, spit, don't move and draw all other weapons to de energize yourself.

A few kicks and laughs I did long ago.

Never, and I mean NEVER attune a pig while jumping up and down while screaming ' ARG I'M A SCURVY PIRATE! '. in will cause tortuga to eat the kraken causing port royal to turn to ice and melt which means..... gunner will ask for more rum to spare.....
to prevent this, take two steps back, turn starboardwise 7 times walk up to a gravedigger and spit on its face.

Never drink rum when apliying Tia dalma wrinkle cream, or ye will be drunk for life!
if this should happen, take four steps back, spit, get slapped by scarlet, and do a zombie dance. when you see the flying pigs that yell, ' COME BUY CHICKEN WINGS AT BARRBOSSAS BURGER SHACK! " then yer curse is lifted.

Never stare at Tia Dalma, or she will send her little alligator friends filled with a curse for 10,000,000 years.

The only way to get rid of this curse is to be level 40 and get killed by a lvl. 1 Gravedigger.. odd superstition, aye?

Always lift treasure over the port rail, never the starboard. Always lift cargo over the starboard rail, never the port. Confuse the two and your ship is doomed.

Bite the head of the first fish you catch each voyage, or be doomed to bad luck (borrowed from Edgar on 'Dealiest Catch').

Never sink your ship more then 5 times in 10 mins otherwise they make you work for one of the shipwrights for an hour.

Only way to prevent it is on the fifth time you are about to sink run around your boat 20 times while jumping up and down yelling "im a big pirate i can swim"

When you attempt to steal the Black Pearl, make sure you have enough rum for the crew.

Aye, long ago it was said that while sailing under the sailors full moon on ye quests if you sink more ships then is requested for the all powerful pirates greed
the sky will turn black and you come face to face with the Uncharted Waters Screaming Banshee!
