This is completely epic! Man, I can just think of all the features my ships will have. I will have my ships the colors of the rainbow!! Lets hope the lag won't be intense....

The lag will probably increase a bit more, seeing how this kind of "extra" customization would have to render as further load on everyone's PC. Maybe a lot, maybe little, we will only know when it hits the test servers.

But, I fear it could push up sync times for populated servers.....

Now, since we are getting new ship customization features, which in the video it shows that it even +1s some skills, maybe +2 for the better upgrades, don't you agree that the enemies should get upgrades too or just a design look update or something?



I mean with these new powerful ships, most of the challenges they could be used for would be scoundrel of the seas, sea fleets, and probably multiple high level ships.

Even though scoundrel of the seas is kinda hard enough, it would be nice if the enemies AI or ships got an update as well with our ship customization update coming soon.

WOW I might just have to come back to POTCO for this yay I will have a a pimping black and red ship hmm or maybe yellow and black... Well anyways its nice to be back with new content plus I have fathers day quest plus jack brew so it couldn't be better.

I think it would be a mistake is they just made everything buyable. Dispite all this excitement, I still think it's going to get boring after 3 weeks. After all, there really anything new in the game to "play" (except new ship, but just look at how fast QAR got boring too, and QAR was a new ship type too) . Its like them selling famed and legendary stuff for gold, people won't play as long anymore since they can see and try out everything in a week. If they made some of these upgrades available only from loot, I think it would keep us players in the game longer, just like finding loot has kept players for a year, and will still keep many players happy for months to come.

This is only a theory based on the video. Hopfully we will get new ship parts, and the video only shows a part of what is coming. I guess we'll see...

I don't think its that NPC ships are weak, its just that they are too low level. The ships we commonly sink, Warlords, Collosus, Black Harbinger, Dreadnought are only level 40 at most. We are level 50 pirates, and we can defeat lv 40 land enemies with ease, and the same goes for lv 40 ships.

The Hunters are diffucult because they are actually lv 50-60, which are several levels above us. When lv 50 enemies first came out, we had a lot of trouble killing them as level 40's.

Jello, I would love to see you start and run a game that over two million people play. I would love to see you add EVERYTHING people want. Did you play back in '07? If you did, like me you know that they NEVER said they would release new ships.Stop complaining and be happy about this update.

I cant wait for this to come out on Test. I am eager to go and try the Brig. It looks a bit like a mixture of the Queen Annes Revenge and Black Pearl. The ship custimization looks great too, but in my opinion the ship would be my favourite. :sailr:

Pirates Guy I have played since the game released ive waited and waited and WAITED, then of course when I just started playing WoW this comes. Its just very annoying Ive played every week this this game comes out. Then when I quit, it comes. That's sooooo funny, Then all the new people that start this month dont even know how long the ORIGINAL players waited. And they did talk about ship customization in '09. Im lvl 50 trust ive done my time
