Alternate Weapons
Parrying Blade--available at level 7; deals 25% less damage than a regular blade, but makes it easier to Parry (<--written description/adds 1% to Parry for each point inserted); name subject to change
Fencing Blade--available at level 12; deals 25% (or perhaps 30%) less damage than a regular blade, but makes it easier to Parry (<--written description/adds 2% to Parry for each point inserted; name subject to change Anyway, the idea is to sort of make weapons that increase the effects of passives. Weapons of the sort could amplify skills like Parry, Endurance (but not preferably), Sharp Shooter, Dodge, Eagle Eye, Focus, Spirit Ward, Finesse, Spirit Lore. Maybe a weapon could be made that "includes" a skill point in the skill or something. I dunno really. |

maybe the ability to use both the cutlass and the dagger at the same time.

I have already stated a bit what i would like to see, some variation in some of the weapons. I just feel way too much of these things we have been so limited on. Treasure in the game, yet no use for it. Weapons actually falls in this same category. You buy the first few levels, you do quest updates, yet we are stuck with the next level. What happen to all these other ones we have already gained?
Be nice to see some variation on some of these, and perhaps some differant effects. |

Yee-up: the notoriety clogging of the 20 weapon quests makes them rather impertinent. However, with these kinds of weapons, we could have a) a better leveling tool, and & b) a weapon for those of us who don't use that weapon--the Fencing Blade (name subject to change of course) is rather useful for those who don't plan on using the cutlass as their go to weapon, and rather use the passives (though I don't know if that itself is such a great idea--perhaps it could only take place when the weapon is drawn).
