Useful Flag bug
If you have a weak level crew, and you need to sink a Spanish Shadow Crow,or French Blood Scourge, and you want to get it over with easily, then here's a useful bug.
1.Attack and cripple a skeleton flagship. 2.IMPORTANT:Wait for a low-level skeleton to be on the ship(Green or Grey level tags). 3.If there's a high-level tagged enemy on the ship, then you should kill it and repeat #2. 4.Once you see a low-leveled enemy, board the ship, and it should then be full of low-leveled enemies(Example:If you board and there was an Undead Conquestadore currently on the ship, then the ship would be filled with Undead Conquestadores.) Sometimes this bug doesn't work, though. Also,I don't know if it will work with Navy and EITC ships. |

I've done this in the past when sailing by my lonesome, but me thinks the devs got wise to it.
After my fourth succesfull boarding of the night, I went out for another haul and was going for the Spanish Crow again. I saw a grey tag, and boarded. It took me a bit longer to kill off the crew, but I got it done. Right as I killed off the last grey tag, a flock of red tagged enemies fell down from the mast and layed wreckage to me pirate. Happened so fast that I couldn't even get their names. Not sure if that is a common occurance or a freak thing, but I don't do lone boardings anymore for any of the skeleton ships. |
