What is Popmundo?

Popmundo is an online roleplaying game and community where the players strive for fame in a virtual music industry. The game is played in real time and the game keeps on going even when you're not logged on.

Popmundo is not a traditional video game with animated graphics and sound. It's more of a imaginative management game and playful community where you log on a couple of times a week to work on your career.

You never play against the computer. All characters you encounter in the game are played by real people across the globe.


Does Popmundo cost anything to play?
No. Popmundo is absolutely free of charge.

What do I need to play the game?
The whole game is played through your internet browser. So if you can read this you already have all the stuff you need to play the game. The registration process require you to have a valid email adress, however.

How do I register to play?
Registering is fast and simple. Just click on the link "Join Here" in the menu above. We will ask you for your name, email address, and which language you wish to play the game in. That's all! You'll be able to play as soon as you've filled in this information.

Is there a recommended age limit to the game?
No there isn't. However due to the somewhat complex nature of the game we don't recommend it to the youngest players out there. We also make a serious effort to keep the game world clean from sensitive content such as pornography, and religious and political debates which might offend players. But since Popmundo is populated by real people which at times tend to behave poorly there is no guarantee that offensive content will not make its way through into our community.
