My Boring High-Level Characters
I'm in a quandry. All my pirate characters are now high-level, 30+.
It's BORING! Crimson Rose has mastered almost everything. About all she can do is go on materials runs so she can get gold and materials to upgrade her war brig so she can go on materials runs. That and privateering. Hasn't made admiral yet. Pretty limiting, eh, what? My new main character has hit Rep 39. After that, it's just work, work, work. I'm seriously thinking of eliminating one of them and starting a new character. All the fun was in the lower levels. There were lots of quests, and you always had a new level or a new weapon to look forward to. Things HAPPENED. There was variety. It didn't feel like WORK! I'm just wondering - before I trash one of my characters - if there is some way of archiving her so that I could retrieve her at another time. I do have another - basic - account. No, you can not swap characters. That free service was terminated due to those schemers getting old bodies. When things of that sort happens, POTCO clamp downs hard. I don't see why that action should be a mystery to anyone.
I understand in another post that you're having troubles with cancelling your account. In light of the fact that you have another account, may I suggest you contact Member Services to assist you with cancellation so you can pay for that new account instead? I believe you will be happy with that move. |

You could call disney and get your pirate transferred to the other account, then you can still play on her if needed and transfer her back.

Does anyone have current direct contact information for Disney online? All I ever get to when I try to manage my accounts is an Adobe Flash Player crash, so I don't even get the contact info.

I have a slightly different issue... I can manage my POTCO Account on the Pirates Online Website, but the Disney Services Website is unavailable to be because every time I change pages (because I live outside the U.S.) their browser resets to detect my location. So I can't access my Disney Account, for things like organizing to change any of my accounts D-names or should I (Heaven Forbid) decide to cancel my accounts. Kinda weird really, you would think their system should be able to remember where I am from, but apparently not.
