Game Cards Up In The Air

In case you're unaware, POTCO has officially made the following announcement:
Sorry, mate! Pirates Online 30-day Game Cards are not currently available for purchase at retail stores.

I was first alerted about this issue last week. After advising them to send feedbacks inquiring if this was a policy of CVS's or POTCO's, the matter was settled with POTCO making it clear that it was a CVS policy to decide which of its retail stores would carry them. Then, a few days later, I got wind of the sudden change as duly noted above in the quote.

That is when I wrote POTCO a feedback about the matter since I just bought one and intend to use it later. Their official response is as follows:

Some CVS stores are still carrying Pirates Online game cards but most aren't replenishing them as we are evaluating the game cards at this point.

I can't share what the plan is at this point, but we will let pirates know if anything changes with the game cards, either through the Current News (Grog Blog) or on the Game Card page.

I have not sent them a reply... yet. I would like to, but instead will ask each of you to contact them. Yes, we could speculate why and lament how POTCO is handling/mishandling this. I don't see how that will help any. What I do see is an opportunity to weigh in how much this payment option still means to us. And not only that, if you know, if you have any suggestions, how this option can be improved, now is the time to politely let them know it.
