Pirates Online New Game Mode - Capture The Flag
Here's a very early and basic map that I've created to give you the idea of what this game mode would be like:
Main goal: Take the other team's flag from their fort and bring it back to your fort for a point! Now for some rules: 1) Pirates may attack any of the other team's players freely. 2) Pirates can double/triple/quad/etc. team one player, including the one with the flag. 3) Upon defeating your opponent that had taken your flag, flag spawns back at your base. The player defeated spawns back at their base. 4) HP and Voodoo values are temporarily boosted for this game mode to not have each player die so quickly after being teamed on or etc. 5) Defense, damage values, and certain abnormal status abilities (Such as Brawl's Stun ability) could also be temporarily reduced/weakened. 6) Other rules/game function coming soon........ if I can think of more......... By the time IF this mode ever gets released into the game, Fast Switch should be gone already. Please feel free to post your feedback on this or suggest improvements or additions to the rules list. I like the idea, and I think I'd have a lot of fun playing that, but I don't really see how it's relevant to the game. I doubt it would be added, but it does look quite enjoyable. This game looks like something you might get in a fantasy RPG.

In SW: Battlefront, there is also hero mode, where you can turn into a hero from the game or villain and you would have a special weapon.

I really believe this PvP game mode could work in Pirates Online because the game already has objects or forts that make it still pirate-like related.
A list: 1) The Navy and EITC forts as our bases 2) Flags. Navy and EITC and ships all have flags in the game. So our game mode would still be related using "flag" objects. 3) Power-up tokens on the field, randomly generated upon time elapsed or upon resurrection. This still would make it pirate-related because it could have abilities like the potions do or special temporary buffs like el patron's ghost ability. 4) Cannons. Not sure if that would be a good idea or not........ but it would give the teams a choice: Travel to the other fort by running on the path or staying at your base using the cannons to damage your rival's team members/fort. I think this would just take too long to program, but one can dream ![]() But, it can be implemented. It's not like something out of this world like Pirates Online getting an update where they visit ice lands and its snowing the whole time. The Caribbean has no islands that would have snow weather. That is an example of an update that would for sure not get added to the game. (Note: I was half awake while typing the message above. Please excuse the errors... if any) |
