Why is my pirate freezing?

So, I went to loot at DH. Was joined by another pirate whom I did not know-but it's cool. I kept freezing. I have experienced that before but never to the degree that happened today. The other pirate said "I am moving so fast that I can't control my pirate". I said "Swift-glitch"? He replied yep. I said that is probably why I am freezing so bad. He said "Maybe". So, I tp'ed to another server to find out. And, apparently, it was the glitch causing me to freeze because it didn't occur again. Thanks for ruining my play-time, mate! Have some consideration for others-PLEASE! It's only being courteous to your fellow pirates!!! And "No" I did not report because I had to find out first by tp'ing to another server.
