The power of the undead

Oohh, ominous title. >:-) Me likey. Anywho, I'm gonna take a shot at making a story. So, this is basically a story about a person . Thats all I can say for now, here's the epilogue:

-Two Years Earlier-

"It's over, Jolly. Just go back to your grave."

"I... I wont be defeated by swine like you!" Jolly Roger said grasping his chest.

"I'll take you all with me!" He yelled, unleashing various purple energy blasts. Most missed, but one caught a pirate straight in the heart. He flew back, crashing into a stone wall.

"I'll see you all in the Underworld! Hahaha, HAHAHA!!!!!!" Jolly said as he disappeared, laughing like a maniac.

"Will! Will, are you OK?!? WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Chapter 4
Saved!

Roger woke up with a huge headache. He also woke up screaming, but that has nothing to do with the headache. The main cause of his headache was the fact that he just lost with two other people to one pirate. His pride was kinda injured. But enough about that, the fact, and the surprising fact, is he wasn’t dead after all of that voodoo stuff.

“AH! Don’t sting me anymore, I’m allergic!” Roger screamed. A pirate was looking at him.

“Uh, what? Why would I......” His voice trailed off.

“Where am I?” Roger asked, quickly changing the subject.

“Devils Anvil.” He said simply. Silence followed, while Roger waited for more explanation.

“Okay, if you’re not going to just tell me I’ll ask. WHY.” Roger said, emphasizing the last word.

“Why what?”

“Why am I here?”

“I don’t know.”

“You don’t know.”

“No, that’s why I said ‘I don’t know’”

“Okay, why are you here?”

“My hideout.”

“Hideout?”

“You ask a lot of questions, you know that?” The pirate said, clearly annoyed. He was wearing a brown pirate hat, and a worn down brown coat with equally worn down black pants. He sent off a vibe of poor, yet he didn’t look skinny, which is normally associated with being poor.

“Wait, where’s Stealthy? And that weird pirate that blew everything up?” Roger asked, suddenly standing up.

“Uh, who?”
“My best friend and some random pirate were fighting this other pirate, he had this weird looking sword and could control voodoo and.... OW! Why can’t I remember anything?” Roger asked.

“Again, I don’t know. I found you washed up on the shore. I’m fairly certain someone left you there, considering you’d drown if you floated from anywhere to here. It’s practically isolated from everywhere else.”

“Okay, before I go on, who are you exactly?” Roger asked, confused.

“I’m The Sharpshooter. And ironically, I can’t hit the broad side of a rock with a gun. Knives are more my thing.” The Sharpshooter said. “Who are you?”

“I’m Roger, Roger Swordshot. So, The Sharpshooter-” Roger started, but was interrupted.

“Call me Sharp, it saves time.” Sharp said.

“Okay, Sharp, where’s the nearest ship?” Roger asked, eager to look for Stealthy.

“Oh no, you’re not going alone. I’m coming with you.” Sharp said.

“And why should I take you with me?” Roger asked, not exactly trusting this new person.

“Correction, I’m taking you on my ship, because, unlike most pirates, I actually have a conscience. Granted, it can be annoying at times, but at least I didn’t shove you in a cave with some crabs.” Sharp said matter-of-factly.

“Fine, let’s head out.” Roger said, heading for the dock.

“Wait, take this.” Sharp said, tossing Roger his Thunderspine sword.

“Where did you.....?” Roger said as he caught it.

“It was on you when I found you. I tried using it to make some thunder, but for some reason it didn’t work for me.” Sharp said shrugging. “Anyway, let’s get going.” Sharp and Roger went toward the dock, and boarded Sharp’s ship, the Silver Rouge.
