Introduction
There are 6 land weapons which are all deadly and useful in their own ways. Each powerful in their own way. The 6 are Cutlass, Pistol, Doll, Dagger, Grenades, and Staff. Each will aid you in your adventure and each will require leveling at certain times. Some are powerful at range, others powerful at close range. Others require voodoo to use, in order to create powerful hexes and others use physical timing in order to create chains of combos to devestate the enemy. Use everything to your advantage and each weapon will become apart of you...


Cutlass

Introduction
The first weapon you obtain in this game by Will Turner. Cutlass requires physical timing in order to chain attacks to cause the max amount of possible damage. If mistimed you will NOT have to redo the whole combo, but will end up either missing or landing a weak attack. There are 3 types of Cutlasses, the Broadsword, Cutlass, and Sabre. Broadsword is meant for powerful, less speed but radius attacks. Cutlass in the middle of sabre and broadsword and sabre for quick, weak attacks onto one enemy.

Guide
This is for people who want to level up sword ASAP right when they get it and ignore all their other weapons. This is not suggested as it puts your weapon stats outta whack and is harder to level up some weapons later in game.

First of all, right when you get your sword you should get a ship first, then head over back to the Governor's Mansion and fight some cadets for a tad bit. Fight until you're about level 4 or 5 on swor and then we can head to either A) Royal Caverns or B) Fort Charles.

A) Royal Caverns is good because of the wide range of weapons and you can find people almost everywhere. I suggest if you head to royal caverns find a NPC and attack enemies near it so you get healed quickly and effectively. Rpeat until about level 10 sword or until they turn grey for you. ( Might be a little higher than 10 so stop at 10 )

B) Fort Charles! Now this is a good area to level also because of Sgt. Bingham and Gordon there to heal you! What you can do is get all the sergeants and guards around the area and kill them, heal when needed and continue till about level 10 sword.

Ok you can go to the shop to get a new sword or use any you plundered. ( Hint Hint, from now until 5/31/2010 you can type darkfire into your redeem code button and you get an attack 22 sword good for beginners because of no level requirement except being unlimited! )

You have three choices for efficient leveling up.

A) Stay at fort Charles and get all the veterans, should be able to kill them if you need healing use it. This is a good tactic as it allows you to get enemies from the beginning and continue up the ladder. Also get the grunts that are around also to level up quickly.

B) Kingshead! You might think i'm crazy but i'm not! Kingshead Veteran Pack is a great spot to level up sword, just bring tonics with you and be ready, also DO NOT SWEEP the whole entire veteran pack, this will result in knock out. I suggest doing this until about level 15 sword or until you get thrust.

C) Beckett's Quarry! You know where samuel is correct Well there are a bunch of enemies around there and you can kill them with your sword ( bring tonics! ) and level up very quickly in my case! Again if near somebody else DON'T SWEEP and do NOT get Samuel I repeat DO NOT!

Ok till you get thrust or you get to level 15 sword.
You have two choices.

A) Beckett's Quarry once more, I suggest if you are going to take on officers and hired-guns you should be about level 17 or 18, if so you're good if you're about 15 then you need to get a tad bit higher for this training, so I suggest to level up pistol or just quest to get up there. Now back onto track, head to the CENTER of Quarry where there are 2 officers and 3 hired-guns. Should be two healers also. Attack an officer or hired-gun, then you want to run to the NPC so you can get hleaed quickly! Reepat until Level 20 - 22 sword, whatever makes you happy.

B) Kingshead, head to the first fort where there are officers and etc there. Again the same suggestino for Quarry but this time you got no healers so either bring a healer or bring tonics! I suggest if you could both. Get enemies till level 20 - 22 sword.

Note: Make sure you're doing the weapon quests and not having all of your other weapons at level 1 get them to level 5 at least so you don't get outta whack when you master sword.

Ok here we go again, two choices.

A) Beckett's Quarry yet again, now you should be able to tackle some of those nasty dragoons when you should be about 21 ( considering you did level up your grenades to about fire bomb level you should be able too, if not sea below on my guide to take on enemies ) Dragoons are tough and mercenaries are also, so I suggest bringing a healer. Repeat until maybe 25 or until the rep is not very sweet.

B) El Sudoron, get the navy and EITC that are camping and get enemies around it, should be sweet but remember bring a helaer if possible and BRINT TONICS. Repeat until 25 or until rep is just gone from it.

Alright mastery time, this is a guide that you should be about twenty five in levels of notoriety if you did lvl up weapons, if not see my Notes on just leveling sword.

A) you can stay at sudoron or Quarry your choice and you should still get some rep from it.

B) Should be at about level 27 or something in notoriety you know what this means! Let's head to TORMENTA to take on some bad boys there! Head to the center where flotsmam and spineskulls are. Spineskull easy flotsam are difficult here so bring tonics and also please if you could bring a healer as it would be useful during flotsam battles, spineskull just make sure you don't make it run into a wall. Repeat till you master!

Ok before I continue for mid levelers I need to state something here. The suggestions I make you DO NOT have to do, but are suggestions to make sure you're not outta whack later in game with your other weapons being low and difficulty of enemies. I am going to state a little about what I cal al Leveling Lunatic when they only level up 1 and let all the others fall behind later in this guide.

For Mid levelers

For people with level 20 notoriety or higher and a sword below level 20 ( Bladestorm Level ) This is the complete guide to mastery foryou! Ok first of all you should be able to take on officers or dragoons so here are some choices.

A) Beckett's Quarry once more! I suggest that you get dragoons and mercenaries if you could, if not get some officers and hired-guns whichever is easier foryour overall notoriety level. Repeat until thrust or bladestorm is achieved.

B) Lava Gorge, you can head to the area where Piratas are or Captains ( or is it captaines) and fight them for rep as always bring tonics and a healer if possible. Repeat until thrust or bladestorm.

C) El Sudoron, get the peopole near the camp and bring tonics. Repeat until you achieve bladestorm or thrust.

More choices now we advance.

A) Continue with the enemies from there, short sweet rep might be better for you.

B) Try Samuel or Dreadtooth should be yellow for you and banks about a 100 rep each time. Tonics might be needed.

C) This is when you have HEALERS or you're confident with your ability to defeat flotsm and spineskulls.. Head to the center of Tormenta and get the enemies there be confident if you can bring tonics and bring a healer, this is probably a hard area but if done can bank EXTROADINARY amounts of rep at one time.
Repeat all of these until maybe level 25 sword, you should be at level 25-27 in Notoriety delpending on what you did in between all this leveling.

Some more....

A) Stay at the area of flotsam and Spines, till you master sword.

B) Head to th etop of kings and take on assassins, and merecenaries you should be able to get them, if not I suggest heading back to dragoons lower down. Repeat until mastered.

C) Ok last one here head to quarry and just get th emercenaries and assassins next to Neban, and repeat until mastered, if unable to do this ( Idk why you could get them earlier ) then you're screwed and have to go fight some officers.

D) Outcast, make sure you got a sure footed sword, ithout it you'll take too much of a beating and will be killed before you get to Maggie, CRUCIAL to have a sure footed weapon. ( Monkey, gorilla, etc)
Now you've mastered sword!

For People Level 30+

Tormenta baby! Format will change a little as i have no clue you're sword level and notoriety so just find you're area.

Sword Level 5-15, Notoriety 30- about 34. Center of the area get flotsams and spineskulls until either A) Bad rep or B) you have finished them all and you are able to take on brinescum and kelpbrains.

Sword Level 16-21, Notoriety 33- about 37. Brinescum just use asp on them first before engaging with sword, should be simple bring tonics and a healer if possile, another thing you need to do is watch your healthas it can kill in a shot if not paying attention.

Sword Level 22-30, Notoriety 35-about 40. Either stay at the bridge or engage the seabeards and molusk ( ONLY WITH A HEALER OR YOU CAN ACTUAL ENGAGE THEM ) Repeat until you have mastered sword!

Another choice is actually Outcast, when you get poor rep from cuorrupted stumps, take on the twisted, its quick and you have Maggie for a healer.
Note: They have knockdown so be sure you have a sure footed weapon or can take on damage.

Pistol

Introduction
You obtain the single barrel pistol from Captain Barbossa during the story quest. You can get this weapon at anytime of game that you want, but must be retrieved in order to continue the story quest to head to Tortuga and meet up with Jack Sparrow. There is a wide variety of pistols out there and there are certain types that will give an edge in leveling. Pistol is deadly, a deadly long range weapon that can take out anybody or anything, beware its power and learn how to use it.

Guide

This first section is for people wanting to master pistol right now ASAP. Not recommended but hey it's your weapon. There's a few choices you can choose from.

Beginning with Pistol:

A) Governor's Garden, shoot the skeletons and backup when needed. Bring tonics with you as well.

B) Tortuga Graveyard shoot the skellies and get the gators if needed. Don't try and shoot the Navy....

Continue until you get to Level 8 pistol. Now this is crucial, get a wicked repeater pistol. This will then start to maximize rep.

Note: You will get the max rep possible if you have this weapon with you. Rep may decrease
