navy cannons.. awesome??!!!

so late last night i was with a friend from the fellowship of fire. we were doing the new cannon thing. ( i like to point out that is awesome since in the guild i am some of a cannon master i like it but it would be more awesome if it was something to master...) anyway so i was with a frined only the 2 of use and we got to wave 35!! and in cannons we were lv 21 and he was lv 20. so anyway at lv i found out that the navy cannon does like and upgrade and turns gold O.o"" it was awesome but i wanted to find out what does that mean (the gold part) and i want to know if you can get rare and famed cannon rams there and i wanna know too some score of you guys thx if you know these question
