Slow Game/ Newbie Beta Tester - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I'm a new beta tester, and I must say this game is really slow....... Is it just me or is it really slow? I dunno.. Any advice?

It hasn't been too slow for me. I do get some lag though. Sometimes I move to a 'quiet' world. You can change worlds by pulling up your map and clicking on the white-ish bar under current world.

Not really for me... I just get major lag in the jungle and swamps.... Good grief, Lag like you wouldn't believe! Even with nobody around!

Im creating MMORPGS for about 5 years (Im 14 now but realy, these years are 5th)...
1 way. ... so I know that you can make game faster by quiting all another programs like SKYPE, YAHOO MESSANGER AND INTERNET EXPLORER!!! INTERNET EXPLORER or anoter explorer needs much resourses.

2 way. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE. An task mananger will show out. Sellect processes and find pirates.exe press right on it, the sellect priority and click on high (do not use real time it stuck your comp after some time).

TO GET BETTER REZULT USE BOOTH WAYS!

git rid of internet explorer! what? that is me only way to get on the internet! well i geuss if i had othe ways that would be alright but not now...

Don't get rid of Internet Explorer, just don't have it running while you are playing POTCO.

Does this count with IRC chat too??

Basically any form of chatting and instant messaging that's running while the game is on can slow it down. With nothing else running, I get an average 22 FPS, and with 30-60 FPS in places with no players roaming it.

The game runs pretty well for me... I believe they are still ironing out some kinks with the game itself. I normally get around 20 in with a lot of players around. The game runs great when I am by myself. I would recommend getting lastest drivers and also tuning down the graphics under the Options.

The game runs pretty well for me. I lag sometimes but that's more when there's a lot of people in the area. Otherwise I'm pretty much fine.
I gotta say I'm surprised to, I expected more lag lol

It is not slow at all, it's actually very fast for me, I haven't experienced much lag at all. I'm guessing it's your graphics card, processor or internet.
