The veteran parade block in Kingshead is always a nice place to get good rep on a low level staff pretty quickly. Depending on your level and staff level, you'll probably want a few tonics and maybe even someone to come heal you while you fight. There's no real place to stand like with grenades where you can stand back and not get hit, so just find a spot where no stray enemies will get to you and have at them.

(Just a note, you probably need to have wither at first if nothing else for this, if you don't just run around KH killing single enemies till you unlock it, then get in the center of the formation and blast it.)

After that, I suggest you grab a few healers and go down to the Cursed Caverns on Tormenta. They have high level enemies that provide good levelling, as long as you have a healer.

yup. Also you can get some good staff rep during the invasions. As long as you have flaming skull.

When you first get your staff, fight the fly traps on Cuba in the Pantano River, using Soul Flay and Pestilance, until you get Wither. When you get Wither, level up your staff until you get flaming skull. Then, join a group of about two people (over level thirty and have staff). One for healing, and one for fighting. Make sure they are high levels in staff and healing. Practice on Remington, Neban, and Darkheart. I'm level 31 and I have fought Darkheart while someone was healing me. Try to get Banish and use it on Darkheart. Make sure you get your new staffs along the way! After you have gotten to Banish, go to the cursed cavern. HAVE A HEALER!!!!! And try to get desolation. Use Desolation on first hits because then you can heal before they attack.

When Big Del got his staff, I used this method:

1. When you first get your Staff, first things first, you'll need some tonics. Grab a few from the local Gyspy on Cuba, then head back to the Pantano River. Use Soul Flay and Pestilance on the nearby Fly Traps, until you get Wither.

2. Once you get Wither, once again, be sure you have tonics (although having a healer would be great.) Head out to Kingshead, and in the middle of the big field, is a group of Navy Veterans. Use Wither on them, and you should get mucho rep and gold. Keep this up until you get Flaming Skulls.

3. This is where you can really start to get diverse. Heres my preferred method, though: Once again, be sure to have tonics, or a healer. Then, you can either choose to go after Samuel (in Beckett's Quarry) General Sandpipe (Rat's Nest) or General Hex (Misty Mire.) Go after these guys for a while. Once you get to about level 32, and have at least 3 points in Flaming Skull, move on to step 4.

4. Head to the Padres Back Beach, and continue to use Flaming Skull, this time on General Darkheart (this time, make taking a healer as your first priority.) I don't prefer to go after Neban or Remmington, because they favor using asps, which tend to break attunement. Plus, they're a little harder than Darkheart, so just play it safe. After you get to about level 35, your staff should be pretty close to, if not past, Desolation (level 20 Staff.) Time to move on to the final step.

5. Head to Cursed Caverns on Isla Tormenta. PLEASE bring a healer, or you will find yourself dieing. ALOT. Now, enter through the entrance where, if you open the map in the Caverns, your at the entrance at the very bottom. Head foward in to the first clearing, where you'll find a small pool filled with a few Spineskulls and Flotsams. Level off of these guys for a while, until you get to Level 36. Next, head to the entrance on your left. Head down the long, narrow hallway, until you get to a corner with two Brinescums (or Mollusks, can't remember.) Blast away at these guys for a bit. Once you get to Level 38, instead of going to the Treasure Room, go past that, until you hit a small walkway in the middle of a big room, right before the area with the 6 Spineskulls/Brinescums. This walkway should be filled with 3/4 Mollusks. Blast away at these guys for a while. At about this point, your Staff should nearly, if not mastered.
