Several Accounts

When you load up POTCO, and your pirate is there. If you press "Create a Pirate" can you create a second account and still KEEP your main one?

I made another account after my first one ,Geoffrey, And Geoffrey was still there. You still can keep your character(s) if you decide to make another one it seems.

Much in the same way you can make several toons on one account with ToonTown Online, you can create several different pirates with one login. When you click the second "Create a Pirate" button it will not do anything to your original pirate. Once created, you will be able to log on and play any of the pirates you choose, allowing you to choose different quest paths and strategies for each.

This is different than creating a second account. You can only play one pirate at a time, so no sharing with your friends or anything that would require two concurrent logins. It wont allow it.

If a sub-account were created under your account, you would find that theres a way to choose which account you want to play under, with the option to create 5 more pirates under it. Sub-accounts can be played concurrently with other accounts. Presumeably, one would have to pay for two accounts to do that (assuming unlimited access).

There's also an option to lock your pirates from other family members so they cant play yours if your accounts are linked.

Interesting side note... My son and I both play and we can see each others pirates from the login screen as expected, but my daughter also has a disney account linked to mine and she shows up there as well (but has no access to the game.)
