Leveling Pistol
I have a level 23 and a half pistol, where do you guys think I should train it? I'm thinking Tormenta or Padres Beach, or is their a better spot?

I don't know where the rest of your weapons are, but this is how I do it once I get all weapons to lev 20:
Back Beach, Tim D. Stand by the torch on the lava pool side. Draw him in with dagger, go through the throwing dagger sequence once, slash him a few times while throwing skills re-charge, then go through the throwing sequence again. Break out the Doll and life drain him (if you're there with someone to heal you, you can skip this one, unless you need Doll points) Switch to Sword, go through the every skill, every combo twice, like dagger. Back to doll and a life drain Switch to Pistol, fire off three shots of every ammo type. You can usually get in three rounds of everything before you need a life drain again. Doll and Life Drain time... Start back with Dagger/Cutlas/Pistol and use the lowest damaging skills til he's dead. It depends on what level he is, but if he's over a 25, you can get near 100 rep per weapon. More with a crew bonus. Hope that made sense... |

Much Better
Go to the Catacombs, run down the stairs and past the first big rock then stop. To your left and forward is an undead raider. Shoot at him with lead shot. He will throw a few daggers at you then switch to cutlass. At that point if you don't move he will glitch and not attack you. Just shoot him with lead shot and its an easy 100. Do that 80 times and you are mastered and you will make a very good amount of gold.

For those who may not have a healer, consider the Stumps on Outcast (stand by Maggie for healing - press shift when Health is low, pay 5 Gold for full heal). There are 2 Stumps there - but only take on one at a time.
Draw the Stump in with either Pistol or Staff. For Pistol, I used 3 shots of Silver Shot, change to Dagger, Cutlass - Only use the skills in the bottom circles. Back to Pistol for 9 more shots - finish with Grave Shackels, Curse and Life Drain. Back to any Circle skill if needed. (Note, after Silver is gone, use Hex Eater then any other Shot - Just use Take Aim until the Bar appears - NOT full) For Staff, I used Flame Skull then Banish and ran thru the rest of the rotation. You don't get as manny points per enemy defeated as with Tim D., but consider there are 2 Stumps there and you can defeat one Stump in 30 seconds or less you should average about 1,000 Rep points (per weapon) every 20 Minutes. If you have a second computer, make a Free account so you can teleport that pirate for a Crew Bonus too. |

There's a glitch with General Darkheart on the back of Padres Del Feugo which can prove helpful with long ranged attacks. If you attack him constantly from a distance, he will throw a daggers, switch to sword and just sit there. You lose like 100-400 damage while he throws daggers, but that's it. The only catch about this spot is that he has 2 minions that will come and attack you while you attack him, usually undead Executioners and Gypsies.

I agree with Kid, Outcast is really great because of the NPC healers. That is where I did the majority of my weapon leveling on my first pirate.

Catacombs...
Go to the platform where Jolly is. Get a bit to the right and JUMP. You will end up on the platform with the Raider and Gypsy. Being up on this level, you won't have to worry about running into the other MOBS accidentally. Use Hex to hammer down the gypsies, then switch to Lead. Worked several levels of pistol that way. When my pistol level was in the teens, I used to hit the Queen's Nest. Wasps are not very fast, so you can keep moving away - stop, then blast away, etc. |

Thanks for the helpful ideas, guys. Just mastered the pistol. So I now have mastered the cutlass, pistol, doll, staff, sailing, and cannons. What would you guys recomend for level 15 nades and a level 20 dagger? I'm thinking of heading over to Padres beach for these also... unless if you guys know of a better place.

Grenades- Darkheart.
Once again, use any and all ranged attacks with Darkheart. You'll be glad you did....... Dagger- Timothy Darton. Timothy is an Undead Gypsy boss, so you can use ASP and Throw Dirt to shatter attunements which buys you some time to give and not take damage. |
