Seriously, how long are these stupid child games going to last? I dont think any Guardian members(non officers) are on POF but if they are, they can send Lady Chris a PM. Shes on my friends list, to find her.

Guardians crashed again?
Lady Chris: You can't trust everybody with the Officer position. When power is in the wrong hands, those wrong people tend to do some very childish things, and I speak from experience. ![]() Good luck with rebuilding the guild. Last edited by AdmiralSavvy; 06-14-2009 at 11:14 PM.. |

And I did notice the numbers returning once again, so I'm sure anyone who has been dropped has already sent the required PMs

Give people the Unlimited Use Invite codes to type in if they are kicked. This is a way of giving select members and guildmasters power. The select members can theoretically recruit, and, if kicked by someone without official consent, they can log in. This really doesn't give an Officer any power, as they can already recruit. In fact, it makes it harder for them to boot without any notice. The real power behind the system though is with the guildmaster, as they can change and suspend the codes if need be.
Otherwise, making everyone an officer (which does make for the most sizeable type of guild, though somewhat diminshes it on a level), or only making people officers if they won't do anything too stupid, are the ways to go. The latter is unpredictable, and the first only allows for members to be kicked while the guildmaster is not on to promote them. They are both hardly solutions. As per the first idea, the guildmaster can do a "Freeze," or mass demotion of officers. This disallows suspects from kicking members. Provided everything is worked out right, like making sure the rule is known that the guildmaster must be asked for the code and not any other member (to make sure no-one formerly and formally kicked out can re-enter, etc.), the system could probably work well. |
