Guild protection

Hey fellow guildies,

There has been an awful lot of "noise" lately about guilds being deleted, or all their members being ejected. I have watched and listened to it, and have felt that we are fairly well protected from it by our policies and our methods of recruiting, but then I heard of a guild where it "Just went away". The guild name entirely disappeared, and I'm not talking about the Pirate Guild 0 thing either.

I'm going to ask each of you to do something.
With each pirate that you have, friend at least 5 other pirates from the guild. And if you have multiple pirates, have each of them friend different guildmates. Pick your inguild friends randomly, not everyone friend just the officers, or anything like that. But, make sure that you are friends with at least one officer each.

Officers, make sure that you have at least 2 other officers in your friends list, among other members.

This should insure that, if something happens wereby the guild gets deleted or members get ejected, we can rapidly pull everyone back together.

Realize, that if something like this were to happen, we would also post like crazy here.
