I wouldn't recommend starting a new account after all the work you've put in to get the other one where it is now. Your main account certainly hasn't been cursed to give you bad loot whenever you want to try for a famed or legendary item! Countless emails from Disney say that loot is all random, but I find that certain servers give better loot.

It's not because Disney have rigged certain servers to always give out good loot. It's because some servers are popular among looters, and as there are almost always people looting there (except on weekdays or earlier in the day), the loot cycle goes round and round until someone gets a famed or legendary. It may take a few hours even if the loot is at its best. Because there is a random element to it.

Good looting servers include Levica (my favourite server to loot), Legassa, Cortola, Monada, Savica and Bequermo. I'm sure there are more, though.

To find a good server, you might have to look around a bit. Good locations for looting are Raven's Cove and Tormenta. When you get to your desired location on your first server, start fighting. If loot drops on almost every kill, you've found yourself a good server.

I'd recommend mastering before you start looting. That way you can take on the maximum amount of enemies without a huge risk of getting knocked out. Getting knocked out is annoying if you're looting solo. Loot at the main high level areas on Tormenta (also the bridge), and the south idol in the Raven's Cove mines. If you loot at those places, you'll have a chance of getting famed or legendary cursed blades as well as the regular ones.

Hope this helps to improve your 'luck'. I think all pirates have the same chance of getting good loot. You can get a legendary on your first kill or 257th kill. It's mostly random, and patience is key. Just have fun, and you'll find yourself with a famed or legendary when you least expect it.
