Extra Gold from Selling Stuff?

Has anyone noticed, when selling lots of items, that on some occasions, one item may state its sell value, but when you put it in the selling slots, you may get one extra gold coin from the sell?

As I'm too lazy to make screenshots, I will simply explain this example situation.

At the time of this posting, I am selling a Scallywag's Musket, Sea Dog's Bayonet, and Boarding Sabre, with prices of 80, 48 and 37, respectively. That should give me a total value of 165.

I place a Sharp Broadsword in the fourth sell slot. A Sharp Broadsword sells for 32 gold. That should raise the overall sell price to 197, right? But instead, it gives an extra coin, making it a price of 198. Not that I'm complaining, it's an extra coin in my pocket, but I really think that something should be tweaked there, as obviously that's not right.

(And if you were wondering, yes, I do like to sell things in order of prices from highest sell value to lowest sell value)

After adding on one Wheellock Musket, with a sell value of 26 gold, the price goes up to 224, as it should.
But tacking on a Flintlock Musket, also selling for 26, to the sale brings it up to 251. That's also wrong right away, as adding an even number to another even number does not give you an odd number. (unless you count decimals)

Finally, after selling all of that, I gained 251. Right?
Well, remembering that the first digit of how much gold I had was 4 before selling the weapons (if you must know, I had 26324 gold total), then looking at the same digit after selling the weapons, it was a 3 instead of a 2 (total price being 26573).

But the weapons I sold sold at a price of 251. Surely that should've brought the 4 to a 5, no?

Well, it seems that the extra gold it may give is actually just a misleading value. The game does realize the actual sell value to have actually been 249, as it should have shown. But why does it show the extra gold and incorrect overall value?

Also, this only rarely happens.

Happens all the time to me. Usually when the last number is a 9, it goes to 10. I thought it was just rounding or something. Happens to me every time I sell. Doesn't seem to be much more money though.:12_1_138:
